So the Mini has worse battery life than the X when it was new? That’s surprising. My iPhone X at 82% would give me the same battery life as my 100% iPhone 12 mini

Despite the efficiency gains brought by the A14, the mini still has a significantly smaller battery than the X. Now I haven't run any scientific test, but after a week of use, I can confirm that both phones last me less than a full day on medium-high usage (roughly 5-6h on screen). So the Mini has worse battery life than the X when it was new? Could you please tell me which charger and cable you used?My X is 3 years old and at 90% on the original battery.
Buying one of the 12’s soon and giving my X to my mom.
You can do something similar in the shortcuts app and you don't need an app running in the background. You gave me the idea for it actually and I figured out how to do it. This shortcuts app is surprisingly powerful. Here's how to do it:Got it done this week. 9:10 a.m. appointment (opened at 9 a.m.) and probably handed over the iPhone around 9:20 a.m.. The email for pickup showed up at 10:36 a.m. (didn't have another device so didn't see it). I came back at 10:45 a.m. and had it by 10:52 a.m.
The Apple Store also replaces the speaker as part of the battery replacement. They said it gets destroyed as part of the process. I don't mind a new speaker, but is that what happens with non-Apple battery replacements too?
I also downloaded the battery charging alarm app that alerts you when you get a certain percentage of battery charged if you set the alarm. Seems like the people that don't let battery get too high or low have the longest battery life. No overnight charging it appears as well.
I can't really seem to follow your process. I get to shortcuts app and there is nothing about automation anywhere. You can do something similar in the shortcuts app and you don't need an app running in the background. Shortcuts app----> Automation ---> Create personal automation --> scroll down to the bottom "battery level" ----> choose what % you want ------> next ----> add action ------> search (as in actually do a search) for "notification" ----> Show notification----> customize it how you see fit.
Can't figure out how to change the sound tone...but this will do.
On the bottom when you first open on the left should say my shortcuts, then in the middle automation, and then gallery on the right.I can't really seem to follow your process. I get to shortcuts app and there is nothing about automation anywhere.
Works great. The app is good for tracking, but if you take phone off charger, the app alarm has to be reset I found out. My alarm at 80 percent did not ring and I caught it myself at 85% charge. Something to remember using it.On the bottom when you first open on the left should say my shortcuts, then in the middle automation, and then gallery on the right.
I don’t know about the alarm, but the notification doesn’t have to be reset. I’ve taken it off the charger many many times and it works every time. Check out the screenshot, try to duplicate and you should be good to go.Works great. The app is good for tracking, but if you take phone off charger, the app alarm has to be reset I found out. I meant the 3rd-party battery health and charging alarm app. The iOS automation shortcuts work great.I don’t know about the alarm, but the notification doesn’t have to be reset. That is interesting, my speaker got replaced as well when I got a new battery from Apple. The Apple Store also replaces the speaker as part of the battery replacement.
