10.13.1 is early access to the fixes for all the brokenness of 10.13.0. That is, I’d rather run .1 in beta than the GA of 10.13.

This article dated today (Sept. 13) claims the High Sierra GM is out. However, I think they may be mistaken.

I’m thinking this week but next week at the latest.

I plan on upgrading all of the following soon after the GM is available:

iMac 2017 27” SSD
iMac 2010 27” HD
MacBook 2017 SSD
MacBook Pro 2009 SSD (unsupported, but ironically already on the HS Beta)

The two 2017 machines are my primary Macs.

I think you can start submitting High Sierra apps now, so i don't think a GM is far off.

That is usually a recipe for a GM to drop.

Typically Apple does its software drops at 1PM Eastern so it still is too early for today's releases.

It will be a different build than the current beta 9, I can guarantee that much. Beta 9 is close to what I would call stable, but not quite there.

NO—the Apple Developer pages still shows beta 9 and no GM seed. And trust a Windows dedicated site to get it totally ****ing wrong.

That's the intent. "Gold Master"
That being said, if there was a HUGE bug found at the last minute, Apple could easily spin another build (as Mac's aren't as dependent as the iOS variants going out on the iPhones, AppleTV's and Watches.) Those, people would have an absolute bird if it didn't have the new OS on them when they pulled them out of the box.
