Third round for me with the saddle brown case. This one was purchased off is amazon and I’ve been using it for about 4 days now. My last saddle brown fell into what I think may have been dried bum urine so I tossed it.

I bought the yellow one. But I'm afraid to use. because my iPhone X has rusted on the underside since the case doesn't protect that part. I don't wanna ruin my 11 pro max. Does 11 have the same risk?

Rusted?

Stainless steel shouldn't rust and even if it does, it's need some serious exposure to water etc

It more than likely didn’t “rust” since it’s stainless steel. It may have discolored by something abrasive rubbing against the frame, but I really don’t think it rusted.

It rusted? I’ve never heard of that happening.

It is more like an oxidation. I can't say for sure. I will try to take a picture of him. I gave it to my mother.

I also found it strange. It looks more like an oxidation. I don't know if this term is used.

I will try to take a picture of him today. It appears to have rusted on the underside and the mute button.

That looks like a burn/discoloration. Maybe the phone was dropped on that corner accidentally? I think it adds character though.
this phone, while wearing the apple leather case, had not fallen. it just fell after I bought a pureguear cover. and she protects him all. unlike the apple cover.

Definitely a burn or heat related mark

But how did that happen? I see no possibilities. Because I don't remember putting my cell phone under conditions that could cause it.

Also the same problem appeared in the mute button. I don't know how to see straight.

If you're adament it's not heat/burn related then it could possibly be some form of chemical contact damage?

It's definately not rusting and it definately won't have been caused by dropping the phone.

It may have been caused by hand moisturizer. Only explanation.

I have returned one like that, not paying $80 here for a leather case with streaks in it, especially when you see most don’t have them, so it’s not normal and a fault imo.
