ANOTHER SAD UPDATE: Today, my Longest Streak Badge reset itself again. Yesterday, my record stood at 2,199 days. Today, it stands at 35 days. I really hate this.

Does your Watch show the same Longest Move Streak value as your iPhone?

I have found that some of the fitness statistics shown on my iPhone can be incorrect. For instance, for the monthly challenge I am always surprised by how the iPhone is off by a couple days but if I "force quit" and relaunch the fitness app things get caught up. Maybe you can try that?

Having exactly the same issue.

My current move streak is 1031 days. But showing just 35 days 🙁

What a pain.

I’ve had similar issues. Did any of you have the iOS 17 beta installed and then restored to iOS 16? I’ve done that twice and wonder if that might be one of the issues?

No, never installed any beta.

I’ve been watching this thread for a while because I have the same issue. Mine sorted itself out around the same time as the OP’s but has gone off the rails again. It seems to have stuck on July 17th. The move days count is going up but badges are showing odd numbers.

This from the Watch.

The numbers from the Move Goal of 200,300 and 400% don’t add for today but if I take the move numbers from the 17th and add it to these they work. Strange.

I have tried all of the above suggestions and no changes. I guess we just wait and see if it corrects itself again. Frustrating

Sort of back today.

Should be 1032 I think, but I’ll see where we are tomorrow. Better than 35!
At least these are all restored.

I didn’t do anything to restore. Just happened overnight.

Something is definitely off.
My move streak is what it should be, but apparently I’ve hit my 200% goal 3,879 times, wow… if I would have reached it every single day, that streak started over 10 years ago. LOL, it’s the same number on my watch and my phone. Funny that the AW only got introduced a little over 8 years ago… guess I’m ahead of time LOL

I’m sort of back on track also. Move goal total is showing correctly.

Move streak is still off kilter. It’s hung up on July 20th now and iPhone doesn’t match the AW.

Also I’m getting updated badges for personal bests that are nowhere near previous PB’s.

My Longest Move Streak badge no longer says 35 days. But it also It hasn't added any days to my record since July 18. It's simply stuck on 2,199 days (should be 2,204 days). The date gets updated, but not the total.

My streak is back to normal. It wasn’t when I got up this am but after finishing a workout it all looked good. Strange.

The 200,300,400% are still out of whack. The phone seems correct but the watch does not match.

Just wanted to give an update to this and report that everything in my fitness app started displaying correctly today. They just reappeared out of nowhere 🤷‍♂️
Oftentimes, with these issues, waiting is the best strategy.
When switching from an old Apple Watch to a new one, it sometimes takes until the turn of the month until things revert back to normal with these badges.
I recently did several switches.
AW was broken, replaced under AppleCare+, replacement was broken, too, so ordered another replacement. I did three switches within two weeks or so and the badges went crazy for a while. But eventually, everything carried over correctly. Tracking resumed undisturbed from the beginnen.
Would be interesting to know, what is going on behind the scenes that makes switching Apple Watches so wonky in that regard.

Yup, looks like patience is the key here and to just continue closing the rings till they sort themselves out.
Unpairing and repairing was tempting at times (even though that may not work) but glad I waited it out.

I've had most of these issues too. And the poster above who recommended waiting is correct in my experience. I've had:

- A regular reset of my move streak to 35 days. Or occasionally to some other number in the 30s.
- on 9/18, right after iOS 17 dropped, the app gave my streak as 32 and 463 days at various times. (It was 950 days on that date).
- My total move goal awards routinely disappear, even though the app notes that I have "1157 of 100 days" or whatever number I'm at.
- I just closed my activity ring a few minutes ago. *Right now* the app states that my longest move streak "was" 953 days, and that it ended on 9/21--today's date. It says my current streak is 0 days.

Bottom line is that this app is badly broken. I know it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but I have worked hard to keep those streaks alive, including walking around airports and train stations, as well as plenty of early morning/late night workouts. I'd hate to lose them.

Created an account here just to commiserate. Currently on a 1k day move streak. I was previously was dealing with the 35 day streak issue, usually that would reset itself the next day to the correct number. Just updated to OS 17 and watchos 10 and now it's saying my movestreak is 484 after closing my rings last night. Hasn't updated itself yet today.
From talking to apple support they suggested not only repairing the watch but also erasing and reseting the associated iphone. Something I'm loathe to do just because of the potential issues that could introduce. Even with icloud backup. I almost wonder if there's a corruption issue at the iPhone level causing this down to the watch.

Really disapointing that this bug was present in previous versions and is still around for this. For those of us with high streaks, we must be a small percentage of the total users but it's really frustrating to deal with this regularly.

I've grown to simply accept the fact that the Longest Move Streak badge is broken. Mine currently says my "longest move streak ... lasted 39 days and ended on 9/21/23. Your current streak is 2,265 days."

I imagine I could resolve it again by following the steps I outlined a few months ago. But I've lost the desire to do so.

Just ridiculous, Apple.

My longest move streak, and the count towards 2750 move goals have been all over since I installed WatchOS 10 (it has happened before in some updates).
For now it appears that if I turn the iPhone and Apple Watch off then on, it corrects itself, just to get lost again a day or 2 later.
It is a little ridiculous that Apple can’t prevent this.

It's interesting that you mention the 2,750 move goal. My awards section used to show upcoming goals (I think it went all the way to 5,000 moves). I completed my 2,750 move goal on September 15, a few days before installing WatchOS 10. Now, the upcoming goals are now all gone.

Yep, I used to see several upcoming move goals…. 2750, 3000, 3250, etc.. Looks like it was cut down to just the next one (for me 2750 is next and I see it, but sometimes it lags by a few days.
Nothing wrong (IMHO) to only see the next one, but wish Apple fixed all the counting problems with the badges.
