Breath had its own thread and this now Edge rated 10/10 deserves the same - And here is that Edge review (slight spoilers ahead)

Cant wait especially as they all seem to be pitching it as a "proper" successor to Super Mario 64.

I don't know about the rest of you, but i find it strange(and mildly annoying) that so much information and footage from the game has been shared before release.

Bought a preorder code last night. I’m sure it’s gonna be amazing. Can’t wait!

I am still going with physical copies so I can play and sell on but undecided with MO as I can't imagine ever getting rid of it.

My local Best Buy will be selling copies the night before at 9:00pm, which correlates with the midnight launch on the East Coast. I'm pretty excited, though I'm worried the hundreds and hundreds of Moons will get monotonous like Korok Seeds in BotW.

Tried it at the kiosk at Target - great game, but I'm no longer into "precision jumping" games...

It will definitely be a big hit, though - just the thought of playing it at home then on the road for a game such as this...

I'm now tempted as you can pre-download with the new system software to actually buy this digitally now...

I’m getting this digitally. I buy all my games from the eShop because I like having them with me and I like the piece of mind of not having to drag game cartridges around with me. Also I never sell or trade so I’ve decided to go digital with the Switch.

So how does it work with Amazon then as I see they're matching the digital and physical copy prices of Mario O - If I bought the download code from them today then I enter that on the eShop on my Switch and it'll pre-download it today as obviously on release day I imagine the server won't be running that well....

I got a text and email early this morning saying my copy of Odyssey has been dispatched. Might have it tomorrow - my day off! Win.

Just been in Amazon chat - they really haven't got a clue about pre-downloading - I suggested they want to see about changing the way their codes work / speak to the big N...

Thank you Jah...I'm so Blessed
Just bought and preload it from the eshop and now I play the waiting game. This is the first time I’ve been excited for a Mario title since Sunshine.

Nintendo is the king of compression...5.2Gig download.

Bless

This game is blowing away all reviews.. looking like the switch might be the hot item this holiday season!
(This could be a generational console potential, my first console was original Nintendo on Christmas.. such vivid memories)
