Nice! Considering an '18 for a new family ride, same High Altitude model. I like it has every option standard (as part of this package), expect for one stereo upgrade the the Hemi/V8 option.

Is your's the V6 or V8 flavor?
I actually have the Grand Cherokee with the Altitude package. The High Altitude is another trim level above mine - far more expensive, lol. The Altitude starts at $36.7k base, the High Altitude starts at $47.5k base. The High Altitude is a beautiful Jeep with some really nice features. I certainly would have gotten one if it was within my budget.

My Jeep has the V6 in it. I've been really happy with the performance. I'm doing mostly city driving and averaging about 21 MPG. And it has plenty of "giddy up" on the highway when needed. It's quick and smooth going from 60mph to 80mph when I need to pass someone. It's also surprisingly agile maneuvering in and out of tight traffic.

Bonus for the 2018's compared to the 2017's - Apple CarPlay is finally included in the 2018's!

Oh yeah, I totally added the 'high' in your post, where it wasn't present - sorry about that! The gloss black wheels (vs. the granite crystal) should've been a clue but it didn't click when I posted. Duh.

We are looking at the High Altitude, which is basically the Overland + Special Package (which is a Limited plus just about every option standard :D). The CarPlay option is a factor for sure, one reason why the GC made the short list :)

Very jealous of you - i am so tempted to get one. I rented a model x for a quick weekend trip and it completely sold me on Tesla

I always tell people not to test drive one unless you are ready to buy as it will sell itself!

This is my 2nd one and its an amazing vehicle.

It snowed overnight.
It's a Tuxedo Black Fiesta ST if you can't tell, because you probably can't...
because it is covered in snow.

My new Seat Cupra 300. 300bhp dual clutch DSG front wheel drive hot hatch with a superb differential. Mine in particular is fitted with a Rieger front splitter and rear diffuser, plus maxton design sideskirts. For those of you in the US of A, this is effectively the same underneath as a Golf R, minus the AWD. Very good fun although not as impressive as launches. A relatively rare car though, even in the UK.

As for this photo, its a long exposure taken on a Canon EOS 1200D at Danson House, Kent.

Amazing ride. Hard to believe something this great looking is over 50 years old. I bought a 64 1/2 right after they came out. V8 289 convertible. Wish I still had it!

Not sure I can ever drive another gas vehicle again after the spoils of electricity and the launch off the line feeling every time you go. :)

Sounds like you're burning rubber now instead of gasoline. You have a rubber tree in your backyard???

What are your impressions of this car?

I've had it for 5 weeks, and ive clocked about 1400miles. Im really enjoying it so far. It's very sporty and punchy. Steering is tight & quick, transmission is smooth. Kinda feels like a race car in the body of a sedan.

Interior is comfy. I like how the infotainment is integrated into the dash. I also appreciate the minimal number of buttons and tech on the center console.

Nit picks:
I *HATE* auto-stop-start.
The armrest-storage in the center console is small.

Bear in mind that i didnt test drive the competition so im not sure how they would compare.

If you're in the market, there's rumor that Alfa might introduce a coupe version of the Giulia later this year.

A few more pictures...
