Was given - well, it is a gift - a lovely set of Villeroy and Boch wine glasses by a departing colleague.
It was a lovely gift - and completely unexpected; yes, I had supplied wine (and glassware) to the gentleman in question - especially when he was drinking a few glasses with a German colleague - a lawyer - with whom I share an office and who is probably the person I am closest to here and whom - I think the German gentleman (a major in the military) was a little keen on.
A gift is always nicest when people know what you would appreciate. Enjoy them. Although I'd imagine getting them home might be a challenge!

Apple sent me a Magic Trackpad 2, Mophie Powerstation XXL, and a USBc 4 TB G Drive, for my troubles. Sadly, it was due to issues with the Mac. Everything is squared away now, but every time I reported an issue, the rep would offer me something because I was pretty frustrated about the back to back issues. Luckily, they just upgraded my specked out 2014 15", to the new 2017 15" specked out model, because it took them 3 months to figure out that they couldn't fix it. So I guess I got that for free too?
Result! Over there thats probably a tank full. Over here (UK), that barely moves the needle!
A few weeks ago I was offered tickets to a Mozart concert by the state broadcaster, but had to turn them down as I had (and still have traces of) a nasty bout of bronchitis.
It's a little less than half a tank full for me. I usually pay $30-35 to fill up the R when it's almost on empty.
Not mine to keep, but IBM issued me a Toshiba Tecra Z40. I was looking forward to getting a ThinkPad, but I'm not going to complain.
Sony FDR-AX53 4K HandyCam. I do video work for a 501(c)(3) ... I shoot and edit their videos... I get paid a stipend and get to keep the camera.

Apparently, they have agreements with Lenovo, Apple, and Toshiba. I've never had any experience with the Tecra, but I know it's their business-class line of systems.
Visiting my wife's grandparents and her Grandpa told me he had an old Apple computer that I could have if I wanted it. Well it's not an Apple Computer but an original C64 in the original box. Quite a shock to see that one pulled out. Found some more parts in a closet.
