Yeah, I love it. And the Duncan humbuckers are much better than the single-coils on the squier. Plus they are coil tap if I need to get rid of the warmness

The GT6 is great. Simple to use. Got a lot of FX. It is out dated, I think its up to the GT-10 now. So if you had the money get the new one, if not, GT6 is greak

The GT-10 really is amazing, I love the effects and a lot of the drive sounds. Some people say it still sounds "digital", I think it's very cool (it's just not the absolute ideal combo with a Peavey 6505+ which covers most hi gain stuff for me, but I love using it for effects).

a few close ups of the JEM, although it's the basic off the shelf model that most guitar players know anyway - either way, it's an amazing guitar.

Cool thread. I have been thinking about getting a guitar for a while. Just an acoustic one, I mostly like country and some rock music. I don't think I have the ability to learn though.

on a previews thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/14656153/) on music instrument you can see my ibanez RG370

i also have an Gibson Les Paul standard that i tuned with EMG humbuckers but need to redo some wiring in it.Few years after i'm thinking about re putting some standards mic as long as i did not play a lot of metal anyway that's another discussion.

Also have a Takamine electro accoustic EG250 Country jumbo that i get for my 20th birthday. I'm still very fan of the sound it's delivering lot of warm sounds

Playing on a VOX AC4TV with an AX30000G multi FX board.
If anyone has some skills in the rewiring things (needs also to replace the tone and volument knob) i'll be happy to learn from you !

Photo stream is being slow but I'll add more in a min...

MIM Fender Classic series 70s strat with a Dimarzio tone zone in the bridge. Just recently added the tortoise guard and rewired/shielded the whole thing. The difference is incredible! I've wired push/pulls to split the HB and turn the neck pup on/off.


Fender Jazz bass deluxe 24 or something along those lines. It's got slightly different positioning of pickups to give it more versatility than a traditional J.
3 band preamp and a lovely "slap switch" plus a push pull to turn the preamp on/off.

Last one in this post, tanglewood strat copy which I took apart and am in the process of painting! (messy room)
