OMG that clear case is *totally* too slick! I returned mine.

I really wanted a clear case but I have not found a clear case that is not as slick as soap.
Had hope that Apple's would be different but it's not.
What's the use of adding a case if the case makes it MORE likely you'll drop it?

Apple's silicone cases have the perfect amount of tackiness / grippiness, but none of the colors look great with the midnight green. Odd..

Here's my Plan B - a Case Mate from the AT&T Store on the Midnight Green Pro Max:
I like how the sides are actually more grippy than the Apple silicone cases.
I like how the glossy case matches the glossy camera square.

However, while the sides are awesome, and the back does have grippiness next to skin, when resting on a table or airline tray, the back would be MUCH slicker than the silicone.
So it's BTN but it's not ideal.

Pine green will be my next purchase. How is the clear case? It looks nice, is it grippy?

It's VERY slippery. I actually like running my fingers on it! lol! But you really need to make sure you have ahold of it!

I will say that after a day of use, the clear case has gotten less slippery.

Not mine.... two days in and still slippery and slick! (and scratched)

Ok I LOVE this color combo. Are candy shell grips still hard as hell to remove from the phones? That is the only reason I’ve quit using speck cases

Wondering about this too. I think they look great, but everyone says they're awful to remove. Have they been improved?

Sorry. We both returned our clear cases today. They look nice on the phone, but are completely useless as anything else. We're fortunate not to have dropped our phones the last few days.

I opted for the "Alaskan Blue" and she got the "Pink Sand" silicone cases. So much better.

The lady that helped us at the store today said we were the 3rd group that has come in to bring the clear cases back. It was 11:30am here, store opens at 10am. #laughing

What do you do with all your cases once you upgrade?

I sell my phones privately so I get a few extra bucks when it comes time to sell. Granted it's no windfall, but I expect that.

It’s not useful as a case. Way too slippery. It was constantly falling out of my pants pocket (from a seated position). Bringing it out of my pocket, 3 or 4x almost complete disaster but managed to catch the phone before it fell 4ft to the ground. Can’t really speak to protection, as the phone never fell to the ground. For me, and apparently a lot of other people, it needs to be grippier.

My buddy and his wife had that on their X and it scratched the space gray and gold coating removing/putting back on. Have you ever had anything like that? Just curious.

11 pro gold with saddle brown Apple leather case and my old iPhone 7 (3 month old case). My old leather case saved my phone from a number of falls over the years, so I’m sticking with it . Debated getting blue or green, but ended up with brown again.

Yuck. For $39 I’d expect it to be grippy. The Ringke Air is my favorite clear case.

have a Spigen u;tea at the moment on my 11. It’s fairly clear, but I don’t like the front lip - feels sharp and rough

Is that Alaskan blue? Almost looks blue/green, closer to The Pacific Green at least in this picture. Is that accurate to real life? I expected it to be a light blue color but I like this better.

Bought midnight blue as usual but may need to switch.

11 Pro Max with Apple Clear Case

Not that I'm aware of. It just builds up "gunk" around the edges. I occasionally pop off the case, wipe the phone down, and it is back to looking new.

I've only used that case, so I can't speak of any others. But from what I've seen from coworkers and from this forum people love them

I have  leather case forest green. Raisivity is on place and slam boyz certified. Even with x-one protective glass. Great combo.
I look also for carbon slim case but I’ve returned Pitaka. No raisivity at all. Sth slim but protective.
Follow evutec and simply carbon fiber for updating offer to current iPhone models.

My hubby has it on iPhone XS Max. Very protective, perfect fit but unfortunately for me it’s too heavy.
I noticed simply carbon fiber has already all the product line for the newest iPhone sold out. I hope they get it restocked soon.
I’d like to buy the case from evutec also but unfortunately I’m from Europe and they don’t ship outside USA
