Is this as good as Game of Thrones or really different?
The lies told, decisions and the sacrifices made to protect the Institution are both sad and historically interesting. What was done to the mentally challenged royals was a travesty.
Completely different genre, fantasy vs pseudo-documentary based on historical facts. Is this as good as Game of Thrones or really different?
I enjoyed seeing the background on this relationship, and have no issues with Anderson’s portrayal of Thatcher, but that’s just personal opinion.Just finished watching series 4. Didn't think it was as good as the first threee series, Found the Charlkes and Di stuff really dull. The episode about Michael Fagin, is exeptionally good. As is Olivia Coleman. Like a lot of straight guys, and a few lesbians, I'm struggling with Gillian Anderson playing Margaret Thatcher.
I had no idea Gillian Anderson would be playing Margaret Thatcher, so my wife got an earful of my "Holy F***!" moment midway through one of the episodes. I then had an old man moment as I had to explain to my wife who Gillian Anderson is (she was in Kindergarten when the X-Files first aired).
Where did you get to shake Anderson’s hand?I shook her hand
Watching The Royals on Reelz, covering the Charles/Diana years. The Crown TV show appears remarkably accurate in this regard.
Where did you get to shake Anderson’s hand?
When I added the I was not sure if you shook Anderson or Thatcher's hand. She was doing an X-Files event near Milan’s cathedral in the 1990’s. It was a smallish event (maybe 150 people) and I was able to snuck in. She was gorgeous.
