My delivery date is dec 24- jan 6, just wandering if most case will come on dec 24 or closer to jan 6?

Is it possible earlier than dec 24? Because im going oversea on jan 3. anyone order here deliver earlier than eta? I'm in Australia.

I'm in OZ and ordered day 1 with a CTO. Still saying Dec 23 - Dec 31. Shipping dates haven't moved that much since launch so I think you will see yours arrive in Dec. I'm expecting mine to go to preparing to ship in the next few days and think I will get mine around 20th of Dec or 23rd. Apple usually very conservative with estimates.

Ordered 30 minutes after store opened up. Config: 16 core / 96 GB RAM / 4 TB SSD / Vega II / No wheels. Shipped today with delivery on Monday the 16th (I live in Texas so only one biz day for shipping).

For accessories, I got the Belkin aux power cable and the Logitech webcam (I do conference calls). Both arrived yesterday.

I also ordered a Pro XDR (glossy) and Pro Stand at the same time but those haven't shipped yet.

My Pro Display stand arrived yesterday! (Ordered ~20 minutes after everything was released).

The display itself is still in the "Processing" stage though — anyone else's order gotten any further?

Just received the Mac Pro and I am running Migration Assistant to move my files over from my iMac Pro. Looks like UPS is delivering on Saturday because of the holiday shipping rush.

The Pro XDR and Stand are still in Processing status so I am having to use an old monitor as a stopgap.

yes already order the CPU , about 5000 cheaper than apple order, can also sell 8cores after warranty

I plan to upgrade the CPU with a 28core too, may I ask where you buy your processor? I assume you are using the 3275 standard version.

yea, I got 3275M, got it from a private seller from TAOBAO (the Chinese eBay:)), but the seller also sell it on eBay for 4500 USD, but he has very few left, like less than 5

Thanks, seems a great deal if it’s the M version, let us know how it works for you.
Are you sure is not an ES version?

I was looking on Taobao and here the 3275 seems to boost almost every core between 4.1/4.2 ghz, if true that would be great. Probably won’t be able to sustain that for long but for quick render test will be very useful. I don’t understand chinese so I’m not sure if it’s using some exotic cooling system, also it’s an ES so it may not be able to perform the same when using the final version.

Yes looks like a production version, even your CPU seems to boost 20 core over 4ghz so it's indeed a very good result! It shows almost 4.6ghz on a single core so it will be able to get the maximum boost even while using most of the other cores. All of this make me think it's the right CPU for my needs, I mostly need single threaded performance for editing but if can get also a lot of cores for rendering or simulation it will be perfect.
Please when you install the CPU let us know for how long it will be able to sustain the clock under MacOS.

a lot of these chinese sellers, dont bother to update their CPU-Z/HWinfo64 tools sadly

so you tend to get a lot of false info/confused utilities, I don't think the CPU is an ES sample, but just HWinfo64 does not know how to handle the CPU as its newer then when that version of the program was released

That _looks_ like security torx. More common in places where they don’t want to risk the screw stripping.

Don't think so, that's the difference between Torx and security Torx, seems another kind of screw:

What do you want to open the screws for? they are for the socket
it must open the metal clamp is enough to exchange
