No. Consumers don’t care less for the price of each component on the phone. They wanna know how much it costs to fix this or that … that’s it.

Right to Repair will allow me to pay $50 to a third party to fix my iPhone devices rather than going for a full $500 swap as Apple wanted me to without being treated like I’m violating someones property (that I’ve bought) … enforcing a punitive measure by not only loosing warranty but also no longer getting any kind of support from the maker (yes, they do that). This happened to me … extortion is not an acceptable business practice … with or without EULAs.

I’m sorry you felt the need to attack my comment out of context, but we are on the same side considering what you have written. But maybe not … who knows.
