iOS explained

The lack of quality is appalling. Steve Jobs or Scott Forstall would never allowed it's release.

That's for sure. I mean, it's a good system, but it's just so boring in the visuals department. If you showed someone iOS6 and iOS7 who had never seen iOS before and asked which one came first, he would almost certainly point to iOS7 because it just looks so primitive and silly, where iOS6 looks pleasant and robust, even though their underpinnings are pretty much exactly the same. That's not too surprising since it was exposed some time ago that iOS7 was actually created using Microsoft Word.

Another thing people forget or are not aware of is that iOS 5 used transparency before iOS 7 did. Slowly do a five finger pinch to close and as you watch the window close it slowly becomes transparent.
