1) Nokia 1610 - everyone were picking on me because it was a "brick"
2) Nokia 1100 - Again, everyone at school were picking on me because Nokia 3310 was "better" and it got even worse when phones with colour screen were released.
3) Nokia Music Xpress - got a praise from my classmates now
4) Huawei Sonic - The worst phone I've ever owned. My parents refused to get me a smartphone, but I wanted one so bad because all of my classmates had a smartphone
5) Sony Xperia L - The first good smartphone that I owned
6) Samsung Galaxy J2
7) iPhone 5s
8) Huawei y6
9) Motorola 6e - Surprised for what you get for the price
10) iPhone 12 mini

I had a Motorola 2900 that came with a car I purchased back then, I think that was in the mid 90s, but that was my first true cell phone. After that I had various Nokia candy bar style phones then the StarTac. My favorite phone was the Vader V3620, loved that phone, it was small enough to fit into the little mini pocket found above the regular pocket in jeans. Prior to all of this I had beepers, how many here remember those times? Heck I still remember the best technology improvement to the home being a curly extension cord for a home phone so you could carry it around the house.

With the advent of smartphones I was on the Windows phones for quite a bit of time, I remember having a pocketPC with a 1xrtt CF card modem, but I think I had them all. Lately it's been something like iPhone, iPhone, Note 2, Note 3, iPhone, iPhone, iPhone, Note 7, iPhone, iPhone, iPhone, Fold 2...

Wow! I suppose it shouldn't come as a surprise that there's such an eclectic collection of disparate devices listed in this thread.

For my part, I can't remember all the phones I've owned. I never owned a bag phone, but the first one I did own was a unit through GTE Mobilenet where you could connect the base to your home phone line and use it as a cordless phone instead of using up precious minutes (and paying a fortune for doing so!) on your cell plan. That would be an analog cell plan.

Wow plenty of HTC's sadly its not what use to be. I 've had HTC one it was one of the beautiful phones at that time but the camera was a big flop. The poor camera of this phone deter me buying HTC phones.

HTC was my favorite by far. I loved Sense, probably because TouchFlo 3D starting on the Touch rescued me from the atrocious Windows Mobile UI and that translated to Android very well, so I was not happy when they went on the decline.

I would have actually switched back to Android after my 8 Plus instead of getting the XS Max but HTC wasn’t a viable option and I hate Samsung with a passion so I just stuck with Apple.

If there was ever a brand I would love to see bounce back, it’s HTC.

EDIT: Just saw your edit. I didn’t mind the cameras honestly. It was better than putting up with Samsung’s anti-developer nonsense so it was a trade off I was willing to make but the pictures were fine.

I am not even sure if they still in the market but i remember the last HTC on sale was few years ago. I think with rapid success of Huawei and others HTC wouldn't have a chance. Even LG is shutting down its mobile phone section for good.

Google bought up a big chunk of HTC's phone department.

I guess technically buying Pixels is as close as you can get to HTC hardware. I miss Sense but I do like Android 12 on the 3xl I just got on Wednesday. It's good enough that I'm switching back from iOS.

Very good observation mate. I actually didn’t see it until you mentioned it. It does indeed seem to be waves of Samsung and Apple in the last few years.

I am looking out for the Samsung Galaxy Fold4 this year if not then the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Maybe both in succession?!

After the departure of Siemens, HTC, Sony, LG and (may be Huawei ) it's good to see Motorola is slowly coming back thanks to Lenovo. Nokia still around too but with very small share of the market.
