40mm vs 44mm Apple Watch S4 - Which will you get?

I think so too. I think I’m gonna return my 44 and either try the 40 or just keep my 42 S3 for now.
40 for sure. my Wrist looks the same as yours with both watches. I stopped wearing the 44mm fairly quick Before I sold it. Just picked up the 40mm and it feels way better.
Oh decisions decisions lol. I was debating returning it for the 40 and using that one to see how it is. It’s so different trying it on in the store versus wearing it for a couple days.
I think 44 looks fine too. And the extra screen space is a big deal (to me at least).
Definitely the 40mm I would say. Looks so much better and you can see it in proportion on your wrist rather than just being a screen.
Thank you everyone who gave their opinion/suggestions. I switched my watch out for the 40. It looks so much better and the sport loop fits so much better

Resurrecting this thread.... Nike one is 40mm, normal is 44mm. Wrist size is around 175mm. I want those mainly to track my sleep, track workouts, poke me to stand up each hour and maybe control podcasts / spotify on walks. I will probably disable every app notification except for sms, calls and, if possible to have, Whatsapp. And of course, will use it as a watch ?.
Which one do you guys think look better? I am probably more, like 51%, tilted towards 40mm, looks more than a watch.
(there is also a 60€ difference between those)

.I’d say the 40mm as it looks less like a big screen on your wrist. That’s just my taste though, but I like a watch to be in proportion and look like a watch rather than a chunky gadget.
I have a similar wrist size (actually maybe a bit smaller), and I've gone back and forth with this over the years, as it really seems both sizes are appropriate – indeed, most articles on this topic refer to wrists under 6.5" to be "small", and over 7" to be "large", so people like us are in the gray area between the two.
I started out with the larger one (42mm at the time), then thought maybe it was too big so I switched to the smaller (38mm) Series 3 after a few years, and stuck with the smaller size when I got the Series 4 a year and a half ago. But in the past few months I've been having an urge for a bigger screen so I picked up a 44mm Series 5 off of Ebay recently. With vision not quite as sharp as it once was, the larger screen helps, and it's also nice for easier taps (skipping songs, using the calculator, sending iMessage quick replies, etc.).
Plan on keeping both, at least for a while.
Edit: I personally prefer the way the smaller one looks on my wrist, but I think the larger one is acceptable as well.
