I doubt this is an Apple ad. Just as szw-mapple fan mentioned: the MBA's position varies (ever so slightly) between sticker changes; look at the edges and how the position of the Apple logo changes.
I think Apple would want the ad (and the MBA positioning) to be 100% perfect.
This is now on Apple's YouTube channel. It's official!

This is surprising in a good way, not something that I expect from Apple.
It looks indie; Apple is trying to be little guy. This is not the typical perfected and polished product porn usually seen from Apple. I think it makes Apple look more human and less monolithic.
Perhaps the Jimmy and Dre influence is already showing up.
If you look closely, you can see smudges on the computers!
Why would (at least what I expect is) a sports network play an unofficial Apple ad?
So this actually played on a sports network?
One thing you'll notice in the higher quality version of the ad is how the edge of the MacBook Air is not perfectly lined up as different stickers are shown. That lack of attention to detail never appears in past ads. Is this a decline in quality control since Apple has gone in-house with their ad production?
OK, I just saw it on the Apple channel -- I stand corrected!
I looks to me that you don't get the ad at all...

Yup! Same here.
I stand corrected. This is an official Apple ad. But the quality is still less than previous ads. The positioning and lighting is not perfect as the video plays out. Maybe it's an experiment to see how receptive audiences are? So far, it's a hit!

Of course I get the ad. I'm just pointing out that Apple has never released an ad where every tiny detail wasn't considered.
Tell me about it.Teens will love it, I find it refreshing. At least it doesn't look like they're targeting parents and middle aged people which was getting really boringggg
