Given what the betas were like, brave is the person who updates to this today.
so what are the odds that there will come a patch which will allow for 32bit apps to be used?
I think after my recent experience with iO13, both on iPhone and iPad, I will be sitting this out until I’m confident it’s not flaky.
I removed the beta profile and restarted before checking; still no update showing.
Edit: I am now downloading the update after opening Catalina in the App Store and letting it open the Settings app after clicking "Get".

Go into the App Store and snag it there.
That's called a Virtual Machine, and a VM with Mohave is a lot bigger than a patch.
To install if you have GM or not found in Updates...
1. Remove Beta profile

My Gigabit connection did it in under 2 mins but I had to try a few times as connection kept failing to the server.
Yes go to About this Mac / System Report then scroll down to Applications it will show you there 32 and 64 bits apps
So... Nothing appeared in "Software Updates" (I'm on latest beta, already deleted beta public profile), but when I typed Catalina in App Store and pressed "Download" Preferences app asked me if I wanted to download this update and started downloading 8.09 GB file. Is this gonna work?
I knew my Mac Pro 5,1 wasn't supported, but I'm pleasantly surprised to see that my ageing MacBook Air (Mid 2012) is. The battery in it is currently dying, so it'll be a short ride. Still....it's about the journey.

I have been looking to use an eGPU with my Mac Mini 2018 with an enclosure. I want to use an RX 5700 XT which MacOS drivers haven't existed, but since the Summer forums have said 'wait for the full release of Catalina and hope they add it'. Can anyone point me in the right direction to see what is supported? Perhaps the October event could have more luck with the release of a new Mac.
