This has been driving me mad and I was wondering if my 15 Pro was defective. I didn't transfer any settings or data from my old phone to my new one—wanted to start with a clean slate—yet here I am battling wonky WiFi issues that I didn't have with my old 12 Pro. (My old 12 Pro is working fine for my wife.) My phone thinks it's connected to my home WiFi, but no data comes in or goes out unless I switch WiFi off and on again. It'll work for some random period of time before silently ceasing to work. I've even reset my networking settings completely, but that hasn't helped. I guess I'm glad it's a software issue and not a hardware one…

I upgraded from a 13 Pro to a 15 Pro and have had weekly wifi issues. I have to turn wifi off and back on again to fix it. I figured it was the phone itself and I was screwed but glad to see there is a software fix potentially coming.

This update fixed the high latency issues in Steam Link. Time to get a USB-C Backbone controller I guess

Getting nearly 1Gbps on my iPad Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and MacBook Pro M1. I have just swapped out my Unifi 6 lite for a pro tho.

I thought this was because I changed ISP and router but then I changed to my old version and still had WiFi issues.

From slow speeds, dropping off the connection, it has been really bad. I am mostly on 5G now when I am at home n

Apple is like my old mechanic.

I brought my car in to fix the AC. When I got it back the AC was fixed but the trunk wouldn't lock anymore.

Then I brought it in to fix the lock. The lock was fixed but headlights wouldn't turn on anymore.

Usually they'd fix one thing and break three totally unrelated things, just like Apple.
I don’t know which is worse. The mechanic or the decision to keep taking it back there knowing what you are in for.

Interesting because my 14 PM, 15 PM and M1 iPad Pro have had no slow Wi-Fi speeds or dropped connections, in that area 17.0/17.1 has been rock solid here even during all the betas. If its a rare issue that I haven't had yet then its good to see them fix it.

I can't complain at these Wi-Fi speeds on my 15 PM, on my VM ISP it hits my full speeds down and very close up.

I don’t think this has fixed any of my iPhone iOS 17 WiFi issues 😞

how are other people getting on?

(using a 14 Pro)

iOS 17.0 (21A327) here and the WiFi still working as intended and the alarm has never failed me as well. I’m still getting over 500-600 mbps and full upload speeds of 41 mbps. Just another reason why I will be sticking with iOS 17.0 going forward and and not updating the phone. It’s funny all the people that have updated have had issues after issues lmao.

This will all be fixed in iOS 18.5.

Just tested WiFi, across house got 500+. 5G UW in the suburbs gets me 800+. Not bad at all.

I’m just glad .1 fixed my battery/phone overheating issue. One quick phone call and lost 20%.

my wifi 6e speedtests are half of what my 5g speedtests are, sitting 6 feet from router
on 17.2

wifi 6e= 390/530
5ghz = 920/940
The 5G downtown is much, much higher. I'm impressed those speeds are at my home.

I am on Gigabit+, but nothing but praise on the Eero 6e routers. I bet their 7 is intense, but not worth $2K for me.

You guys are lucky you don’t own anything with Stellantis Uconnect 5 system in it… it’s been years and they still haven’t fixed the connectivity issues or any of the bugs in it. 😂 😂

Iphone 15 Pro on latest beta and still having wifi issues.
Apps/webpages just stop loading randomly.
Switching wifi networks fixes it.
Happens every day.

Anyone else experiencing this still?

Same… this is honestly the 3rd or 4th time I’ve had major wireless issues though with iOS17 since June. I’m not going to hold my breath given how many times they have “fixed” it.
