I got this one from Amazon. Interesting, it took over a week to ship it, but when they did ship it came overnight and arrived on a Sunday! Been using it for three nights so far and satisfied. I like the LED lights on it for those times that you have to get up in the middle of night; provides enough light to see the dogs but not too bright to wake the wife. I charge my  Watch in the evening and wear it overnight to track sleep then charge the iPhone overnight. I like having the iPhone standing right next to the bed.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a dock that satisfies the following requirements:

  • Watch in nightstand mode
  • Watch is low level, so I can see the time when lying in bed
  • Accommodates Milanese Loop
  • Not too big
  • iPhone 6 can charge too
Every dock either has the watch perched high up, or it has the watch in the right place but doesn't charge an iPhone. I'm surprised by the lack of choice in this regard, every watch needs an iPhone so it's not a niche market.

For example, this dock satisfies my watch requirement but doesn't charge a phone http://www.spigen.com/products/copy-of-apple-watch-nightstand-s350

This one looks good but the watch is in the wrong position https://www.amazon.co.uk/Charging-Station-BlitzWolf-Multi-Device-8amp-LED/dp/B01ELAICNG

It's not a single dock per se, but I've ordered the Native Union Dock Collection, which comprises docks for both iPhone and Watch, and IMO they look amazing.

Thanks, that looks good. I might go down this route if I can't find something suitable. I would prefer a combined dock if possible, to reduce the number of cables and power sockets I'm using.

Thanks, that looks neat but definitely too big for me. Seems like I'm being too picky but I'm really surprised by lack of current options!
No worries. I have been looking at docks as well and I concur... Will report back if I find anything else :)

I'm looking for something to keep near my bed and capable to charge my Apple Watch, my iPhone 6 Plus and my 9.7 iPad Pro at the same time ... I don't even know if such an instrument exists, can anybody help ?

I don't understand why there aren't more combo docks that allow for the watch to be placed in Nightstand mode, and on the BOTTOM of the stand, like this one. Most seem to have the watch on a pedestal, and to me it's too insecure. I can see it getting knocked off or just falling off during the night, then in the morning it wouldn't be charged.

I really liked the kickstarter one because it was so compact. I haven't seen another model like it to be honest

I have literally not seen this dock mentioned anywhere - it's sold at Best Buy and doesn't even appear on Nomad's site. Seems to fit my needs nicely and is relatively cheap compared to other options with similar offerings. BB currently has it for $80.

The darker part is almost like a dark gray/midnight blue anodized aluminum and the white is all plastic. The lightning cable and watch cable are built in (for $80 that is nice as you don't need to also buy add'l cables). The lightning cable's height is adjustable to accommodate various cases and, obviously, has a backrest to support the heavier ones. I've used the watch portion of the stand in portrait/landscape setups with no issue. Comes with it's own AC adapter that powers the whole things - the cord is probably 5-6 feet long as I had no problem putting it on a nightstand.

Thoughts?
