I got the Ocean band plus extension, but the band was too small and with extension, it was too large. I've returned the extension and I'm going to try out the Green Alpine Band today.
Which AWU band did you get? How would you rate it?

If Trail band versions had been available for in-store pickup on launch day, I’d have chosen Trail, even though I doubt I’d have ever worn it. I went with Alpine but haven’t opened it. I am using my 2015 Green Sport Band for sweaty activities.

I got the green alpine even though I wanted the black trail loop. Surprisingly, I really like the alpine quite a lot. Still need to see how well it stays clean and how quickly it dries after getting wet.

The Green Alpine Band fits nicely on my 216mm wrist. My wrist is bent for the picture which makes the band look very tight around the wrist, but it's comfortable.

I generally like the Midnight ocean band, but it's a little shorter than I'd like. 7.5-in. (19.3cm) wrists, and I'm at the third hole from the end. Since it's just one size, I got what I got. Don't get me wrong - it fits fine, feels snug but not tight, and the color is cool. I'm good with it overall, but I'd like a bit more length.

Got Alpine and love it, however I’d suggest sizing up or down because the default fit puts the exposed hook on the bottom of your wrist and would scrape a MacBook or such. Larger or smaller fit will let the hook position off-center and be good for avoiding scratches.

Came with (L) Alpine Orange, and bought the Ocean Midnight.

Love them both, but the Ocean is small. I have 200mm wrists. I’m at the second to last hole. But I love them both!

I got the Midnight Ocean. Like it a lot. Looks better in real life than in promo pictures -- less clunky and more classy. And feels pretty comfortable on my 180 mm wrist. I'm not wild about fabric/nylon bands -- always used Sport Bands with previous AWs. But that's just me. The Ocean band in a way looks classier than the regular Sport Band, because of the titanium buckle and clasp matching the watch itself. Also bought the yellow one, but haven't tried it on yet. Even thinking of adding the white, although not so sure about that one!

I’m curious how the width of the ocean band compares to the sport band. (edit) Has anyone seen a photograph of a sport band on top of an ocean band?

49mm Black/Gray Trail Loop - M/L
It seems like many of the pro reviews seem to like the Trail Loop the best, yet I am seeing very few people post with them, and apple seems to have a really long lead time to get them out to people. Anyone seeing apple branded one available anywhere ?

Out of the three choices, which would be best for roughly equal amounts of (edit: pool) swimming and running? Trail loop?

I got the green alpine loop with the watch but being used to the garmin silicone straps I found that i absolutely despise having a wet band for a while after running and washing it so I got the white ocean loop. I love the contrast between the watch body the buckles and the white loop. Wanted the yellow but it was too pastel for me id like it to be more of a volt yellow.

I went for the white alpine loop. I like it so far just wish they had a darker colour…. Navy or black.

Got the yellow ocean, I like it and it fits me well. It’s taken time to get the hang to close it properly but I’m getting there, for that reason I give it 9/10. Once you do have it secured, I don’t see how it could fall off unless you use a knife/scissors.

Hmm, the gap in photo two, it remains that way? I have the black version band of that one. But, I haven't even opened it. For now, using my Sport loops from my AW6.

It seems to, but I think over time that might change. It does not bother me when putting my wrist down.
Because I adjust tightness 5 times/ day I will be trying out my other favorite bands and see how that looks/feels, they’re all Nike sport bands

Got the Alpine in Starlight and have to say i like it (8/10). I was looking to get the Ocean band ( none in stock at my local store) as i do a lot of swimming. Question, has anyone swam with the alpine and how was it?
