I got a 15 Pro Max in Natural Titatium and using it with the gray  Silicone case (I'm more worried about my hardwood floors if I drop my phone ).

I don't like cases, especially stickers for iPhones. I love their classy look. But I accidentally dropped one of my iPhones. I guess it was an iPhone 4, so as you can see, it was a while ago. My phone cracked, and I urgently needed to get a new one. After that, I choose only clear and protective cases.

I have owned iPhones since the release of the iPhone 4s, never had a case on any of them and never had any problems. Going caseless forces me to be more careful with the devices.. that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

It forces you to be aware of your surroundings and you develop a spatial awareness as to where in space your phone is and it's orientation. It forces you to think about where you are going to set it down and in what way. Handling and protecting the device becomes a part of your thought process.

I've dropped a 6 Plus and an 11 Pro Max sufficiently to warrant replacement and I'm still using my iPhones caseless.

I had a terrible accident a few days ago during which my iPhone 13 came flying out of my hand and fell from around 1.5 meters onto an uneven concrete carpark surface.

I am happy to report that my 13 survived the fall and is as good as new with no damage sustained to it!

The Spigen screen protector cracked though which took me several days to notice. I replaced it with another one just there and the phone is looking perfect again.

I’ll have to purchase another pair of screen protectors in the event I’ll have to carry out another replacement in the future.

I used to buy cases for all previous phones, but the thing is, small pieces of dust somehow find their way beneath the case no matter how good and strong the grip is and damage the chassis from the inside, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a case in the first place (still comes in handy if a phone falls off the table, though), so this year I decided to try without a case despite a higher risk for serious phone damage.

So far I like it very much, this year's model being slightly smaller compared to 14 Pro Max is so much better in hand, almost perfect.

I'm on day 14 of no case. No problems so far. In this time I have used a case twice but only for an hour or so when out. Last week I put a case in my bag when going into the office but didn't use it. As you say, this year the 15 Pro Max feels so much better in your hand and much gripper than the 14 Pro Max. I do have AC+ which helps with the decision of going caseless.

I got this case and received it yesterday. I must say I really like it, so far. It feels great in hands, it adds very little weight and does a great job at protecting (and showing) the phone!

I use a case. Sometimes I take it off and enjoy the phone as it was made. Feeling how some of the best designers and engineers on earth researched how humans hold devices and put it into the design.

Then I get scared and put it right back on lol

I will say those this 15 pro is actually easier to hold onto WITHOUT my chunky UAG case

Otofly (Amazon) silicone case and Spigen screen protector, because they are cheap, easy and I haven’t changed them out in 2 years. I have a bright yellow case so I can find it quickly in the black hole of my handbag, and I like the grip. I like the screen protector so I can toss into the black hole and not worry about something else in there scratching my screen. In the early days I spent big bucks on cases (leather, fold over or flip covers, etc.) Didn’t need a screen protector then. Now I wonder how I lived so long with all that bulk.

I’ve never damaged any of my phones by dropping, or whatever, but I just know if I abandon protection it will happen.

Yes. I returned the Blue fine woven to Apple. Now i have a leather case from Bellroy. Very happy so far. Misssing that leather Apple option. My choice for the last three phones I’ve had. I have also never damaged any of my phones. 4S, Xs, 12 Pro, and now 15 Pro.

Added a Mous clear to my new iPhone 15.

So far so good - solid build and I like the slightly curved back bottom edge for extra grip and to lay the phone down.

I’m a clumsy guy in a house of hardwood floors - a case is a necessity!

Yup; never ever use any of my phones naked or without screen protectors - with how rough my hands are through using chalk; the screen/phone would soon be marked I reckon

Those are usually the people who don’t learn from their mistakes. I had my iPhone in a shirt pocket, without the flap buttoned. I bent over to tie my shoe and the phone slid out of my shirt pocket onto the floor. The phone didn’t suffer any scratches or cracks, but I learned not to bend over with my iPhone in the shirt pocket. I’ve heard it said somewhere that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

If i want to easily sell it after 2 years use at the highest price possible then put a case on it.
