^^^^124 was removed because it has some serious bugs related to metal rendering that were discovered by World of Warcraft patch 8.1.5.

Hence the reason I removed it from the WIKI. There is no need for anyone to download that flawed driver when it has been updated.

I have the newest drivers installed, and an update is showing for 2019-003 for security update. If I update that, will I lose my Nvidia driver compatibility and have to use the os default drivers?

I'm on 17G6030.

^^^^Yes, you certainly will. You have two choices:

1. Wait for Nvidia to update the Web Driver.

2. Download Web Driver 387.10.10.15.15.108 (it works with all iterations on 10.13.6), available on this site.

But, I feel you should wait, probably a day or two.

I had the same issues but resolved it that way:

I updated it to the latest High Sierra build, 10.13.6 (17G7024).

It totally broke the Nvidia that was working flawlessly. I have a Nvidia TITAN X.

1. Uninstall existing nVidia drivers through the nVidia Driver Manager. This will force a reboot.

2. After rebooting, I ran this command in terminal:

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Benjamin-Dobell/nvidia-update/master/nvidia-update.sh)

-This went out and determined that 387.10.10.10.40.127 was the best version. It downloaded it, patched it, and installed it.

3. I rebooted one last time, and it works perfectly again.

That is good. Besides all this craziness with Zombie Load recently I've also been seeing a lot of info about vulnerabilites in the kernel of one of the NVIDIA driver components (CVE-2019-5675). It affects GeForce, Quadro and Telsla.

Also, have any of you guys using the recalled driver under High Sierra see numerous error logs in Console stating: "Unknown CGXDisplayDevice: 0x41dc9d00"
I'm trying to figure out if it's related to the web driver or not. I just noticed this the other day.

Am I right in saying the last driver version that played well with multiple GPUs is 378.10.10.10.25.106? Anything newer than that and I can only use the display ports of one card.

^^^^Go back and read Post #1 - Everything you need to know is there. The answer to your question is No. Web Driver 378.10.10.10.25.106 is specific to HS 10.13.2 Build (17C205).

Hi Lou

I am basing the comment on this thread

Running any of the newer drivers resulted in choppy UI performance when the display was plugged into any card other than #1.

I am running 10.13.6 17G630. (this entire exploration stems from OpenGL errors in C4D, but I suppose that's a topic for another ... topic)

By the way, thank you. This worked flawlessly for me.

What do you mean when you say patched it? Sorry if that's elementary but I'm not aware of patching the web driver.

I was wondering if any of you NVIDIA guys have alternate graphics cards for Mojave? I'm getting impatient waiting for drivers but I'm still hopeful they may eventually come or we'll find a hack. Should I downgrade to a flashed 680/780 or just buy a cheap AMD card? I figure if our drivers ever come I'll just sell this other card.

Been using a Sapphire Pulse RX580 8GB with Mojave for several weeks. It's Apple's recommended and works fine as an AMD GPU. Swap the GTX1080 FE back in when working with High Sierra/CUDA.

But PLEASE let's keep this discussion ON TOPIC. Several threads on this already...

You are correct, this is the last driver that will work with multiple GPU’s. I run this on 2x MacPros with dual 1080ti’s in each running on 10.13.6 without any issues, no newer driver works for me.

I have quadro k5000 pny PC ,
works every time even on mojave, but the lack of CUDA hurts there, makes me feel bad I Stay with high Sierra ...
maybe 1050ti will be added soon...

Catalina 10.15 will support Kepler but without CUDA too.(imac 780gtx)

I will never buy Mac with amd again PERIOD ...

Note: This will be my last post to this thread! Apple, you've won thumbsdown.gif I have replaced my GTX 1080 with an RX 580 and finally moved on to Mojave. I will waste no more time searching in vain for non existent Nvidia web drivers.

I'm sure to you folks at Apple your victory was sweet, but to us users it was a crappy low down move to say the least nono.gif

AND the lack of information coming from either Apple or Nvidia was just another example of their complete lack of customer support!

The GTX 1080 was actually my third Nvidia Card. I had time and money invested in Nvidia and my cMP, and then the plug get's pulled? Really!!!!! Way to go guys!!!!!!

@flowrider: I‘d do the same, were it not for CUDA development I‘m depending on. Looks like switching to Linux...

kinda sad, but don‘t want to buy stuff from people with that disgusting mindset anyways.

Do we have a list of nVidia cards which work out of the box without the nVidia web drivers?

I only know of GT 640, GT 740 and GTX 680. I've read that those will work without having to install the web drivers.

Any other?
