Different tools for different people/situations.
I use an iPad 9 as my ‘mobility’ device but mostly work from home. In reality that shakes down as, for most tasks, I prefer my iPad to the HP Elitebook because Windows is heavily locked down for corporate security reasons. iPad isn‘t quite so hamstrung. iPad is ready to go in seconds compared to my laptop requiring Bitlocker login then Windows… Also, I have better accessibility options on iPad (I can stream audio direct to my hearing aids). Some bespoke apps are Windows only, but that’s narrowing down as we move to more cloud solutions for tasks.
