Forcing the aged look with products is speeding up the aging process. That wasn’t done naturally over time, therefore, it’s a sped up process by definition.

I used saddle soap to darken and soften the leather. The marks are just normal everyday wear.

don’t know if it looks nicer in real life, but in the image it’s just looking gross.

Hi! Its my new forest green 11 pro max case! I noticed that the leather structure is different with the older leather cases right? Anyone has an opinion? thanks!

in this photos bellow, i post my forest green case in my 11 pro max case and another one is my friend midnight blue case for 11 pro. I noticed that the structure of the leather is different right?

Decided to retire my forest green XS Max case after about 13 months of daily use. It got very dark, but evenly. Anyway, I think I’ll go naked for a while...

Here it is (and next to my old black 7+ case for color reference).

Not really, I didn’t do anything special. That’s just how it aged.

Gave in and bought a saddle brown to go with the forest green.

This one has some stretch marks across it. Would you guys keep this or return it for a smoother one?

I do not think it's bad. It actually looks a bit more natural to me, but maybe it looks more pronounced live than it does on this pic.

Yes I ran into that quite a few times with the leather Apple cases for my X a few years back. I just started being super careful when taking phone in/out.

Looks great and with it’s own personality already. Mine has two off center stretch marks that have not darkened as well as the rest of the case. I think it adds to the character.

Saw by complete coincidence new case colours on the website but these were for the Silicone cases only, got really hopeful they sneaked in a few new colours for the leather too!

Nice! think of those marks as like tiger stripes. I think they look cool and are a bonus tbh.

a friend of mine has a midnight blue leather case with stripes all across the back + the patina and it looks amazing

Was rocking my iPhone naked. But after seeing some of the saddle brown patina I couldn’t resist lol. Went ahead and bought the saddle brown at target, they priced match Best Buy’s deal. $33 bucks ? Can’t beat that.

I feel you. I’ve been using an otterbox symmetry for the past couple of days and I can’t wait to get home and swap back to my saddle brown case.

They do look like tiger stripes in the sun. Should patina nicely.

Welp, back in the saddle. ? And it still smells as delicious as the first day I took it out of the box.
