wireless for last 5 years for iphones and apple watch. Very convenient. It is limited to 7.5W, I believe.
Charger is original Belkin. In a hurry, I'd use Ugreen 65W GAN USB-C charger.

As the battery of my new iPhone 15 lasts me all day, I charge it overnight with Apple’s original 5W charger, linking it up with Anker USB-A to USB-C cable.

I’m hesitant to use wireless charging because of faster battery degradation, so I’ve been charging with a cable at 20w.
At night: MagSafe. On the road: cable. Degradation statistic: 97% after one year, 93% after two years. I don’t worry about it at all. I’ve played with the 80% max setting in my new 15 PM, but stopped it. It forced me to charge early in the evening as the battery was dropping below 20% around 8pm, which annoyed me too much…😅

I charged my 13 PM nightly with MagSafe and battery health was still 100% after 1 year. My 14PM didn’t do quite as well but overall I don’t think wireless charging is a big issue for battery health

I just pop it on a MagSafe charger every night. Not worried about any small difference in battery degradation as I normally only keep for a year

MagSafe. I lost count how many cables I had were busted by my guests. It's almost bizarre I didn't have a chance to break my own charging cable myself yet.

Usually cable. I will grab the MagSafe if I need an overnight charge but I typically charge at my desk or sofa mid-day.

Batteries age regardless of use and battery life will go down within a couple years anyways. Just give Apple the hundred bucks when the phone doesn't last long enough and charge wirelessly if that's convenient for you. It is for me and I don't spend a grand on a flagship device so I can worry about the battery. Tech is supposed to make our lives simpler and I expect it to just work with all advertised features.

If you have a SE which doesn't have great battery life to begin with and you don't want to spend the money on a new battery then fair enough, but especially with the SE wireless charging is extra convenient since you can go through 2-3 battery charges every single day and just placing it down on the pad is so much simpler than connecting the cable each time.

Finally, there is simply no proof that not charging wirelessly will really preserve your iPhone's battery health. You might have gotten an exceptionally good quality battery from the factory, or an average one, or one that just barely passed QC. There is a whole thread here about iPhone 14 Pro users finding out their batteries are degrading much quicker than expected for no good reason. Battery health comes down to luck (varying manufacturing quality).

For my lightning iPhones I used the 5w charger. For my 15 PM I’ve been using the 20w charger.

A friend of mine talks about MagSafe charging like it’s a Star Trek transporter, but I’ve never seen it as an improvement. Magsafe is a big magnetic connection. USB is a tiny connection.

I’ve been using an Anker MagSafe battery pack on my 13PM, 14PM and now 15PM throughout the day. When at home I keep it plugged in a 30w charger. I like to keep my devices at 100% at all times.

I never charged any of my iPhones wireless, always by cable. Wireless charging always overheats the phone which ultimately degrades battery life faster, besides it's easier for me to charge by cable. I prefer it that way and I always will. Don't like wireless or MagSafe charging.

I've only ever used the apple magsafe charger with battery at 99% still for standard 13.

MagSafe puck. I have only charged my regular 13 with a cable 3 times in its life.

I don‘t have a MagSafe charger.

I use a $7 Qi charging stand I bought when the iPhone X launched. It actually works great for standby too.

In the car, I used wired CarPlay.

Neither method has affected battery health on my iPhone X, 12, or 13 mini, so I don’t expect it to be an issue with my 15 Pro.
