From past experiences, the icons on Apple website almost never came to reality in final releases. So, don't trust anything on their website for now.

Command Center Hidden? Under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Location Services, there is something called CommCenter.

Does FCPX work?

I usually don't bother installing the DPs of OS X because unlike my phone, I value my computer's stability , but if FCPX works...

What happens to my iTunes library? Your iTunes library is still yours. You can access your entire collection from Apple Music [on iOS] or the iTunes app on Mac or PC.

Assuming the USB installer is the same as Recovery, I'd say no. Just new font. And maybe something called Security Configuration under Utilities. Never noticed that before.

Disk utility is different. No more repair permissions.

You can with command line #diskutil repair permissions /
