A few images of stuff I'm pretty sure is new.

I've also cleaned up the OP.

Mission Control: No blurred background.

From the pictures on the website, it seems they have got rid of the blurred background in mission control. I assume they will do the same for the launchpad.

Not really an issue either way, but seems a bit unusual when the blurred transparency theme has only recently been introduced. Maybe it speeds up performance?

Better picture:

I did the best I could since it's not captured with a screenshot :(
The beach ball almost looks like the NeXTStep/OpenStep/Rhapsody version.
First aid is the same thing as Check disk. It doesn't do permissions. Permissions are now part of the chron services that run nightly ( I think ) and any time you install an update it does it automatically.
Cron has been deprecated since 10.4: Everything uses launchd. Even things that would have used cron in the past.

Font still needs some tuning, such as in NC tabs, and the desktop name in Mission Control. But knowing Apple, it'll never happen. There were still places that looked bad on non-Retina in Yosemite.

Completely untrue. One of their big selling points was how everything is all unified now.

They were talking about radio, music, connect and all of that into one app. You can probably buy music in there but it'd open up in a separate iTunes app store.

But like I said, we'll see next month once they released it. Their wording in the keynote and on this page suggests it is two separate apps:

http://www.apple.com/music/membership/

What happens to my iTunes library? Your iTunes library is still yours. You can access your entire collection from Apple Music or the iTunes app on Mac or PC.

Does Apple Music work with iTunes Match? Yes. Apple Music and iTunes Match are independent but complementary.

The checkbox between free and paid Apple Music membership had this on the list: Add Apple Music content to your library

Nope. Look at the Apple website, it shows Apple Music as a part of iTunes on the Mac.

I did here: http://www.apple.com/music/membership/

Among other things shown in Keynote that suggested to me they're two separate services.

We'll see more next month.

Can you confirm what 'automatically hide and show the menu bar' does?

The same thing as what the autohide dock does. It hides the menu bar automatically and when you hover near the top, it'll show the menu bar.

It's exactly the same as Dock hiding. The menubar hides itself unless you move your cursor up to the top of the screen.

I'm running a 2013 retina macbook pro.. I must say, its super smooth.. All apps are working right now.. That includes Adobe..

I had a problem setting up iMessage but i finally got that resolved.. Thats the only issues I have had

I'm wondering if VMware Fusion still works. That's the only app I can't do without right now.

From past experiences, the icons on Apple website almost never came to reality in final releases. So, don't trust anything on their website for now.

It looks similar to the Apple Music icon on iOS, personally I hate having a nice (red/orange) icon and have it replaced by another White one (with a weird gradient). I hope they don't change it!
