yosemite works fine on my imac late 2006 with gma950 i just wish we can have full graphics on here and atleast a boot screen

not sure what you mean.

Boot screen is OS independent. It's there even when you don't have a hard drive connected.

The normal Apple boot screen will come when the Boot.efi is completed (at the moment still in development, see here).

I am trying to reach Kelian on his attempts at OpenGL so I can compare and try to figure out the WindowServer Crashes. Help will be appreciated greatly.

I really don't see why either but a couple of people thought that should happen, I guess .

imagine how happy I am to see that the downloaded file is corrupted

edit: changing extractor luckily has done the job good

Big warning to everyone, no matter what you do, don't change the OpenGL/OpenCL to the ones of 10.7.5. It won't boot at all. Luckily I had a backup, had to replace it via Terminal in root mode, not funny, really.

didn't tell you to replace them, only to compare & add what they miss from 10.7.5

anyway, no boot from my installation but I'm going to fix it with terminal and going to test myself

The patched OpenGL/CL frameworks for Mountain Lion will probably also not work, because they have already not worked with Mavericks as posted here.

Yea, the Lion OpenGL is probably our best bet. It was also used in MLPostFactor.

If you get a working OpenGL, please provide a link here . I'm good at Terminal stuff etc., but something like that, won't touch it ^^

well, installed 80211family.kext and ****ed up wifi.. going to reinstall clean yosemite tomorrow..

[I had to do that anyway to have a clean install, mistakenly installed over MLPF ]

In the updated Post #2 now a new Boot.efi with non-verbose boot. Just replace the old one.

i replaced it but i still get the verbose mode are you sure you replaced the link with the right one

Yes, it's the right one (non-verbose) in Post #2 - tested again.

Replace the Boot.efi in /System/Library/CoreServices/ as well as in /usr/standalone/i386 .

Check if your web browser has something cached.

i did replaced it and it still did the verbose mode and its locked so i cant really deleted it

I'm thinking with my ignorance [ *] about making some stuff to translate higher to lower version of open gl-cl procedure, like writing some new library, maybe we can ask tiamo to do something seeing his high addiction to programming crazy stuff like his bootloader

edit: the best thing that comes in my mind is to recompile gma kexts from lion in 64 bit considering that in these drivers there are some opengl 3.3 code instead of the maximum of 2.1 from snow leopard kexts
