Just surprised your 13PM reached 91% so quick, guess it was just a fluke and truly is still at 100%.
I've seen numbers in the low 90s going back to October, Nov. But then it does recover days later. It's odd!

But I have had 3 months showing the 91-95%, which seemed to match the phone I suppose. Now...beats me. I'll take 2 programs showing a 100+ health over what the phone is reading right now. I reloaded both programs again to double check, no change :)

What the phone does show is not matching my daily battery life - drain at all. In fact I think it seems better after 15.4. (To be honest, I'm almost afraid to update to 15.4.1 when that comes out. smh)

2 day old 13 PM, battery design cap 4352, current max cap 4466, and get this: coconutBattery says the battery was made by Desay on FEB 3, 2012, 3695 days old!!!

Pretty sure most of this data is just random-number generation, take it with a very big grain of salt.

I had this odd reading on my 12 Pro Max (Desay battery also), showed it was manufactured in 2010! It did clear up after an update though.

It's likely a glitch that Coconut needs to fix. Not sure if it's them or if it's battery. A friend of mine received theirs not too long ago and also reads made around 2012. I'm sure it's meant to say 2022.

Latest Coconut Battery on MacBook Air (2020) and MacBook Pro (2019) have the same issue with the latest macOS.

I just assume it's 2022, not 2012.

Is there a coconut battery app for iOS?

Can’t be bothered installing it on my Mac.

Also when u plug in to charge the percentage drops. i hope is a bug not battery problem, that others are mention when u restart the phone the battery percentage drops 4-5%

Bought a 13 in mid-Jan and I’m down to 98% battery health capacity. I’m don’t think my 11 Pro Max went down to 99% within the first 8 months. Not bothered by this but keeping an eye on it for sure.

I'm sure the company needs to make a living right? lol. You only pay once and you keep it forever. I actually like it because I can see my battery status live while on wifi so that a plus for me.

Anyways, I picked up a 13 pro max for my wife as she need a new phone.

Still waiting for Coconut battery to update their software. Clearly the battery was not made 10 years ago. lol

Agreed.

Coconutbattery is one of those few apps that I recommend to everyone. There is nothing quite like getting a health status from your device from start to finish instead of the “I’m in XYZ state now, is that bad?” With coconutbattery you know what you get from day 1, and you can watch it over the life of the device - getting a much better picture of what is going on.

As for the cost - I bought this app many … many years ago. Having a history of all of my devices in one location is really cool (you can export this history out to your new macs when you get them).

The free version lets you do almost everything without the history recording - so you can save your own history in excel if you want. IMO, great app in a day when everything is “subscription” based.

I see iOS 15.4.1 was released. Again, I'm almost hesitant to update right now. My Coconut health numbers seem to drop like a rock (or even stay - somewhat - the same) with each update.

15.4 dramatically improved the % number from 15.3.1...so....eh. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That is really weird..... how the heck does it drop 10% in 3 months then POOF back to 102? I wonder if there isn't some optimization / voltage limiting going on.... Or is Apple actually playing around with the health #s?

Here's mine - fairly consistent:

Here is the full history from launch day. It's been up and down the entire time starting with 15.0.2 a few weeks after getting the phone.

I can't explain it. (Another reading from today showed 102.4%)

Well, here we go again. Still on 15.4, I haven't updated to 15.4.1 and It WAS at 102.8% just last night on iMazing (which always matches up with Coconut)

...suddenly this morning "95.5%" (96% on iMazing)
Makes zero sense, these erratic fluctuations have been so mind boggling.

So...ok, I'll update to 15.4.1, why not?

Hi everyone,

I was checking the battery on my brand new phone (less than 2 cycles) on coconut and i don't get why it shows a discrepancy between the current charges.
When i charge my iphone mini at 100%, coconut shows between 98.3% to 98.6% and never hit 100%
Again when iphone shows 96%, coconut is 92.7%

Something to worry about ?

Cheers

Very normal. It’s how Apple reports 100%. Often it’s not actually 100%. Completely normal. It’s been doing this since the 6+ days. :).
