I agree the port appears to be a bit buggy and underperforming but people mostly compare the performance between the two games on Mac and RE Village performs better (higher fps) on the same Mac than Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Here are some numbers from Notebookcheck:

Tomb Raider 1080p Ultra

- M1 Max 32c 87.5
- 3070 Ti mobile 124
- 3080 mobile 116

RE Village 1080p Prioritize Graphics

- M1 Max 32c 110 (from Created Tech)
- 3070 Ti mobile 169
- 3080 mobile 163

There is question whether this test is done plugged or uplugged. People should consider that Apple is doing laptops not portable bricks.
