Just put an order in for the textured matt grey skin from Xtremeskins here in the UK. Just the exterior as I feel that gets the most exposure to dirt. Will post feedback when I've installed it along with images.

Got bored with the generic black.

@dbrand Swarm on 11” 3rd Gen MGK and Black Carbon on Folio. I’m thinking of getting the orange folio and adding black carbon skin… contrast could be cool/interesting.

Should be getting @pitaka MagEZ 2 Case next week for side protection.

PSA: I had previously recommended Xtremeskins in the UK and having taken the skin off after a few days I didn’t have any issues with residue but now having removed it after a few weeks (to change it to another skin) its pretty much destroyed my keyboard!

Really sorry to see that happen. Is some of the residue coming off? What are you doing to do now?

I recently removed a DecalGirl skin from my SKF (which I returned) after a month on, and it came off cleanly. No residue. Also had a good experience last year removing a Sopiguard skin from an MK.

I wanted something VERY different, but works with the two cases I have.

Looks really good. Do you know if there are any skins which cover the thin bezel on the front? White would look cool with the white mkb

For the actual fronts on an iPP? I don't believe I've seen them.

With Dbrand skins you do get skins for the edges of iPP if you want that to match.

For the front of an iPP, I've only noticed screen protectors that will go over that area.

I like that! I grabbed the red Damascus too but for the black folio. I also grabbed the black Damascus for an orange folio and the magic keyboard when I get sick of the swarm skin on it. Currently in transit.

Wanted to try something bold…ish. Here’s the Orange Smart Folio and Red Holo Damascus. Wish it had a matte clear coat on it. Pretty reflective outdoors. The black Damascus is much more subtle in person than in the dbrand photos.

My MK has very few days of life. I would like to get one of the xtremeskins but I'm terrified of the residues it could leave once removed. Perhaps the best thing would be to use it without it and think about applying it in the future only if it gets ruined

Or get a DBrand skin (they ship to the UK - but it takes a month!). They seem to be made of a different less sticky material. That said I’ve not removed the DBrand skins I’ve put on my magic keyboard so can’t guarantee anything. Only thing I can say is the pastel ones (I have the pastel black and the orange) do solve the fingerprint issue with the magic keyboard (which used to drive me mad)

Yeah I had the matte black one on my 2018 iPad Pro and immediately put one on my 2021. Ive had one on my M1 Air for 5 months snd it looks like new still. They make great stuff.

Just a warning that the leather DBrand skins don’t work with the Magic Keyboard. Has anybody by any chance discovered any kind of fix or workaround?
