I ordered a skin for my 2020 11” iPad Pro from dbrand and a skin for the MK from decalgirl. I should have them by the end of the week and will post a follow up with pics.

Update 8/5/2020
I got the Retro Horizontal Skin for the MK today from DecalGirl. I am happy with it. It took about 10-15 minutes. I reapplied some of them 2 to 3 times for straightness. It still stuck good even after a 3rd time, no residue left when lifting back off.

Hi guys, I‘ve just got my magic keyboard skin from Xtremeskins. I’ve read this thread before I decided to order one, thank you for your recommendation guys. Xtremeskins is great, they are not pricey, the matreial also great, and it‘s perfectly fit. Also I think that Xtremeskins is the only one who provide you apple logo cut out, and that‘s cool.

I love the apple logo on the back, so I can play with some decal like on the macbook. This one I put a cat that stares at it. So much love it!!!!

I have just put on the leather skin from Xtreme Skins based in the UK, got to say it’s so much better and the skin was so easy to apply, I hope it doesn’t damage the keyboard upon removal, but without a skin the keyboard is going to get damaged regardless.

Highly recommend them for anyone based in the UK www.xtremeskins.co.uk

About four weeks, but it had to cross the Canadian border to get to me, so things are slow.

Another recommendation for them here also. Bought a skin for the magic keyboard to help protect it from showing all smudges and dirt picked up regularly. Very impressed with the quality of the black mat skin I purchased at a discount. Easy to install and maintain at a great low price. The skin is not cheap made either and came well packaged.

Would also highly recommend xtremeskins - reasonable price, high quality skin, fast delivery and great customer service (they replaced mine when I ordered the wrong one by mistake). Of note having ordered the wrong one (the one with the logo cut-out as opposed to no logo cut out) I removed that skin after a few days.

It came off fairly easily and left no visible damage or residue on the magic keyboard

I had the same thing happen to me in 2/2019...I waited for over six weeks for my Slickwraps order to be shipped. Gave up and filled a dispute via PayPal...which a refund was granted when SlickWraps did not respond to the dispute. At that time, I ended up ordering my skins from https://www.istyles.com/ and they were delivered within 3 days. Take at look at the BBB complaints for Slickwraps and their data breach recently. I will never order from them again.
Guess I should have read this thread before ordering from Slickwraps ?

Ordered from them over 4 weeks ago and my order is still stuck in “processing”. Have contacted them by email 2 times, asking for an update on when I should expect my order to be shipped, with the following responses:
  • 2 weeks ago:
    • “Hello, I do not currently have a known ETA available. Your order is currently processing though and should be sent over to packaging soon. From there you will be updated with tracking information once the order ships out. If you would rather not wait, please let me know and I will attempt to cancel your order.”
  • 1 week ago:
    • “Hello, There are currently high volume of orders for the Honeycomb material. Because of this, there have been some delays on orders for this material. If you would like, I could attempt to switch that material out for another material, or I could attempt to cancel the order. Just let me know how you would like to proceed.”
Just sent them a 3rd email asking again for an update on my order + asking if I switch the material (I’d rather not if my original order is close to being sent), when is the definite date they would ship it to me. If they keep being vague with no real ETA then I’ll just cancel my order with them or file a dispute with PayPal.

Slickwraps is the worst. Had similar experience with them before. I disputed the charge on PayPal and they sent a fake tracking number to PayPal saying it’s been delivered. I did eventually get the skin but that was 3 months later.
Just go with dbrand or someone else.

Love my new dbrand skins! My MKB skins should arrive this week. Same color. I love yellow. I think yellow, black, and white will be a good look.

Yep, emailed them yesterday asking for an ETA on my order since it’s been over 4-weeks. I also asked if I changed the material type (from Honeycomb to Matrix) if it would speed things up, and got the following reply:
  • “Hello,The Matrix skin is delayed as well. I have no ETA on either material.”
So I emailed them to cancel my order and email me back how many days until I can expect a refund. I’m assuming they’ll say there’s a delay in refunds as well and I’ll have to file a dispute through PayPal.

Can’t believe the lack of professionalism by Slickwraps. I mean if a company selling a product is having production delays, simply put it on your website so your customers know ahead of time. But no, they take peoples money and then stall for months with no recourse outside of filing a claim.

Never again…
