PSA: I had previously recommended Xtremeskins in the UK and having taken the skin off after a few days I didn’t have any issues with residue but now having removed it after a few weeks (to change it to another skin) its pretty much destroyed my keyboard!
Does that happen also to the ipad? Bought one of their skins for the back. Since it is aluminium maybe it won’t happen?

Just a warning that the leather DBrand skins don’t work with the Magic Keyboard. Has anybody by any chance discovered any kind of fix or workaround?

I have the full DBrand leather skin on my IPP 12.9 with the AMK for well over a year with no issues. I use it daily as my main “computer” outside of my work laptop. I had the Red Dragon one on my old IPP with no issues as well.

My Raphael skins on my MK are a year old now and still holding up beautifully. The Roman goddess frescoes and the Dürer drawings were ordered from iStyles, but came on DecalGirl branded sheets, so I’m hopeful they will show the same durability.

The colours on all of these turned out really beautiful. I’m quite impressed with the printing process.

Has anyone skinned a White Magic Keyboard? I think I'd prefer the interior of the White but would like to protect the outside

My almost 3 year old 12.9 Magic Keyboard started to peel, so purchased a SopiGuard black imitation leather Magic Keyboard skin. It definitely makes the Magic Keyboard look like new again. The drawback to me is that is does not breath (doubt any skin does) and feels slicker and not as nice feeling as Apple’s original outer layer.

Has anyone ever tried the below brand? It is pricey, but real leather and would probably be more the feel I am looking for. Although with a new iPad Pro coming out next year and Magic Keyboard (if rumors are correct) will be upgrading both anyhow.

I have a generic white vinyl skin which covers both outside surfaces and the trackpad, palm rests, and the bit behind the keyboard. Had it for over a year and it works great. I also have white silicon laptop feet which keeps the iPad high enough off the table so the hinge doesn't get scuffed when opening it.
