What screen protector are you using ?

I believe in these pictures it was the cheap Tethys but I have upgraded to the Bodyguardz Pure 2 Edge protector which IMO is the best protector you can get.

How’s the sheath so far? Any pics?

Here are a couple pictures of the Synthesis in case you missed them in the past.

It looks like it has a bunch more grip because of the textured back.

The Symmetry has way more grip than the Synthesis. The Synthesis case reminds me of the Incipio Elan case that is sold at WalMart. Synthesis has a plastic semi transparent back like the $15.00 Elan.
I've been looking for the Elan case at Wally World but they only have the 11 Pro version and not the one for the Max.

The Synthesis is a fantastic case but not as good as the Symmetry.

I’ve read the raised corners of the synthesis digs into your palm, is this true?

I have not used it long enough to notice but I don't think there is any problem with those little bumps digging into your palm.

Dang that’s good to know. I’m wondering is @bobbsamm was referring to the sheath or synthesis?

The backs are almost the same feeling but it's the sides of the Symmetry that give it better grip over the Synthesis. This is just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Defender pro saves me again at the gym. Dropped on the same stair case and the case took the damage. It’s hard to see in the picture, but I tried to get as close as possible using my wife’s one plus 7 pro. There’s a gouge on the plastic where it meets the rubber outer layer right above the receiver ear piece.

I just got a Bellroy leather case, i really like it but it's probably £5-£10 more expensive than it should be.

https://bellroy.com/products/phone-case/i11pro/black

I have a Bellroy wallet it’s very nice, i had that case cant remember which phone but it broke on one of the corners taking it off and was sharp where the leather meets the plastic sides. I actually ordered it last week then cancelled and was offered the Mujjo for same price coming tomorrow. $55 Aud.

Can't speak for the quality taking it off as i haven't yet but it doesn't feel sharp round the edges or anywhere really, maybe they improved the 11 Pro model? I have a Bellroy hide & seek wallet and also the card sleeve, big fan of their products.

I have no idea why I’m dropping this phone so much. I’m always careful with my devices. All I can attribute it to is, I’m just getting old. At only 40 I don’t feel old.

But, I still might give it a shot.

Yea, please do get a Sheath so we can have some real world drop tests results.

I put the Sheath through a real world drop test about a month ago. Went to the gym, and had my phone in a front pocket, in a backpack that I use for the gym to also carry water and towels. After getting done, I reached down, grabbed my backpack, and swung it around and over my shoulder. Apparently I never zippered up the pocket I had my phone in...and it went flying up and out, banging against a wall pretty good. Dropped from there about five feet on to a tile floor...Phone was in perfect condition as well as the Sheath. My screen protector was cracked in one place, which I easily replaced...

since i am using the sheath now more as the daily driver, I was curious if anyone had any experience with the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro for the 11 PM? I am curious about the cutouts nd if they are asymmetrical

I am looking for a larger "traveling case"., so was thinking this or the armadillotek

My wife has the beetle pro and it’s a beast case as well. Not as bulky as the defender, but it’s up there. It’s nice, the built in screen protector is the usual plastic type which I would prefer to remove, but the phone still works perfectly with it on.

Im partial to the armadillotek since they’re a Texas based small company and I like the way it looks. There’s a few reviews on the armadillotek on YouTube. Sorry I couldn’t offer more info.
