handoff

Hello. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to enable the Universal Clipboard on older, unsupported Macs. I have a Mac Pro (early 2009) 4,1 running Sierra. I know there are third party apps that accomplish this, but they're a bit cumbersome. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

I've missed having access to Handoff on the lock screen since it broke in iOS 10 (I think?). I really want Apple to bring it back and I think it'd be perfect to style it like a Siri Shortcut suggestion. Heck it could be tagged as a Siri Shortcut to make it seem like part of iOS' intelligence...

My 5,1 Mac Pro has an upgraded WiFi/BTLE card. Continuity is fully working with handoff and AirPlay on Sierra. I have noticed that although the General Preferences still shows the option enabled, it stops working after upgrading to High Sierra. Is it working for anybody else?

Airdrop, Handoff, Continuity, Universal Clipboard, ... all great features but sooooo unreliable. Does anyone use these features all day without problems? I move a lot (home, office, ...) switching between wireless networks and it seems these features cannot keep up. They work 25% of the time...

It's odd, I don't have the Instagram app open on my phone, it's not even installed on my iPad. Yet the icon pops up randomly on my phone..then it might disappear 10, 15 minutes later. Doesn't seem to show any other app...just Instagram.
