It is better to go 13-3 or even 10-6 and make the playoffs than to go through what we in Denver have since "The Sherrif" hung up the spurs
Back to back double digit defeats. No playoffs for us, not even good football to watch during the regular season by and large.
The first time we have had back to back losing seasons since '71 & '72. First back to back double digit losses in 50 years (AFL days). A lot of optimism by the local talking heads that the new coaching staff will be a huge improvement over Vance Joseph and the previous one. That newly acquired Joe Flacco will have some of that late-career magic that PFM had. At the very least surely an improvement over the rotation of Trevor Siemien, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Case Keenum that we have had the past couple of years.
Yup, a lot of excitement from the talking heads that the Broncos are back and will be at least competing for the wildcard if not the division. The problem is I don't see how we have significantly improved personnel wise. Unlike some of the talking heads who think we have caught up to the Chiefs, I am more worried that maybe we have now also been passed by the Raiders.
Broncos haven't had 3 consecutive losing seasons since they played in the AFL. I am hoping, this year won't be their first in the NFL
