Ugh, can’t believe someone picked up Burfict.

Me either. He and Pacman Jones are a couple of my least favorite people/players. I couldn’t believe when the Broncos picked up Pacman. VJ going on about how he has grown and matured. Riiiiight. Pacman just got busted in some casino cheating scandal and charges including felony intimidation, felony battery against an officer and several misdemeanors.

He has apparently agreed to a plea bargain for 10 days jail time and has to avoid alcohol for a year and a half. Let’s see how that goes.

Yeah, I was disappointed when the Broncos signed Jones.

I'm also half expecting that in a year or two.
That would depend upon whether he's WWE Champion by then or not. Yes, I see Gronk in the squared circle doing body slams and drop kicks. His is sobriquet will be the Incredible Gronk or something equally WWE gauche. And for his finishing move, he spears a groggy opponent a la Goldberg/Hacksaw Duggan. It'll be called the Gronk Spike. Y'all heard it here first.:p

Jordon Howard, RB from Chicago Bears to Philadelphia Eagles

The Bears will get a sixth-round pick in 2020 that can become a fifth-round pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

What's up with Schiano suddenly quitting mere months after getting the job? He fell behind the family first excuse, which I really don't buy that.

He bumped elbows
Someone mentioned that he may have clashed swords with Belichek and in all honesty there are a number of players that really don't care for him, so I think he was maybe more divisive and not as helpful. This is all speculation as I have no idea.

Free Agency this season has been good. My Cowboys have picked up some good players to lose in the divisional round again. I can’t wait for more heartbreak this season. As I have experienced since 1996.

It’s my favorite time of the year for the whole media hoopla to get us all riled up only for the Cowboys to either lose in the divisional round or not make the playoffs. No in between or nothing any better. Just play the regular season to go 13-3 or even 10-6 only to lose in the 2nd round. I’m so excited I’m 2019 for this to happen again.

It is better to go 13-3 or even 10-6 and make the playoffs than to go through what we in Denver have since "The Sherrif" hung up the spurs :)

Back to back double digit defeats. No playoffs for us, not even good football to watch during the regular season by and large.

The first time we have had back to back losing seasons since '71 & '72. First back to back double digit losses in 50 years (AFL days). A lot of optimism by the local talking heads that the new coaching staff will be a huge improvement over Vance Joseph and the previous one. That newly acquired Joe Flacco will have some of that late-career magic that PFM had. At the very least surely an improvement over the rotation of Trevor Siemien, Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, Case Keenum that we have had the past couple of years.

Yup, a lot of excitement from the talking heads that the Broncos are back and will be at least competing for the wildcard if not the division. The problem is I don't see how we have significantly improved personnel wise. Unlike some of the talking heads who think we have caught up to the Chiefs, I am more worried that maybe we have now also been passed by the Raiders.

Broncos haven't had 3 consecutive losing seasons since they played in the AFL. I am hoping, this year won't be their first in the NFL :)

A winning season for the Broncos would be nice, but they need a long-term solution at QB, of course.

I am a Cubs fan and a Broncos fan. 2016 was the best year ever for this fan!

Yeah, it's amazing how far back missing on a QB in the draft can hurt you. Broncos got lucky with PFM. It isn't every year that a team like Indy cuts a Superbowl caliber QB. I think they were hoping that Keenum's season with the Vikings wasn't a fluke or that Flacco can show a little of the "mile high magic" he showed when he broke Bronco fans hearts throwing a last-minute bomb to Jacoby Jones in 2013.

Having grown up in Pittsburgh and still a big Steelers/Penguins fan as well as Broncos/Avs. I will take 2016 as being a great year as well. Broncos/Penguins 2016 :)

Yes that I agree on. However at least you all do have SB titles since 1996. We have 4 playoff wins since 1996. Sadly I would have took those 4 playoff wins in one season instead of across 23 if we had one SB LOL.

I see what you mean. I have a boss that is a Denver fan and I have to say it is possible you all may be the 4th best team in a 4 team division sadly.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Clearly the Chiefs are the team to beat in the AFC West. The Chargers are running out of time with Phillip Rivers. The Raiders have made good transactions for players, but I'm not convinced that they won't somehow shoot themselves in the foot. I'm not so sure the Broncos have made the kind of progress needed now in our division. While the new coach is bound to be better than Joseph, the QB situation still hasn't been solved for the long term.
