First time using 5G UW in Portland, OR.
Where in PDX was this? I drove around all downtown looking for the 5G UW icon to light up but never could. Any insight would be great! Anyone else have any spots in Oregon to test would be helpful. Verizons 5G map is less than useful for trying to find UW for my iPhone 13 Pro...

I’m on T Mobile and get n41. On my 12PM, I had 5G UC and downloads were always running between 330-650 down. On this 13 PM if it can connect to UC and keep a connection, I’m getting 4.38 up and .02 down. Yes, you read that correctly. Plus this 13PM can’t hold on to a 5G UC connection worth anything. Swapped the sim, etc. I think I got a bad phone.

Let us know if you find out the cause of the slow speeds.

Does anyone know what Verizon is going to use in the display area when connected to their upcoming C-Band deployment? 5G? 5GUW? Something else?

I currently own a 13PM, but funnily enough my fastest ever speed was with a iPhone 12 mini ! Ridiculous speeds. I will need to take my new phone down there for a test run

I was trying to find 5G UW signal here with Verizon with zero success, but im hearing that there may be a privisioning issue with Verizon. Some users who had iPhone 12s going to 13 and not being able to pull 5UW in previous spots in say, NY. Thread from another site has a lot of affected people reporting - anyone here on Verizon and running into issues?

Here's a sample from today in Brooklyn & Manhattan on T-Mobile. One regular 5G, and then the last 2 with 5G/UC.

No uwb here in north western connecticut. But regular Verizon 5g seems fast when I can get it. They claim my house is covered but I’ve never seen it even when you force 5g. But downtown it’s all over.

AT&T San Diego, California. To be fair yesterday I got 800mbps in another area which was next to Qualcomm buildings but on average I get about 40mbps. Not impressed at all

I don’t think you do, I’ve been having crappy data speeds on my 13 pro max too

My 13pro flips back and forth between LTE & 5G but haven’t seen 5GUW yet… I live in the Chicago suburbs and my area is “supposed” to be saturated with 5GUW. Best speeds I’ve pulled down so far on 5G has been 66mps which is similar to what I get on LTE.

I activated on my esim, I might try going to a store and swapping for a physical 5G sim and see if I have better luck.
