elon haters in this thread waking up every morning furiously searching to get their elon news fix. :D

so elon was booed by an audience that enjoys making fun of the transgenders? but.. but.. that audience is evil. isn't it?

and why is this thread the defacto Elon thread and not the thread where apple bent the knee?

No one needs to search for that. Elon is perfectly capable of serving up his own embarrassment all by himself. Case in point: banning, unbanning, then rebanning an account that posts the location of his plane, despite the fact that ADSB data has been publicly available for the past 15 years. He then claims it's stalkerish, and yet on the other side of his mouth, accuses the former head of safety of his company of supporting online child sexualization without base, causing that person to go into hiding with his family from Musk's followers believing the lie so much that they stalk that person.

Yeah, he's an embarrassment.

Yet when posted on Twitter, Elon personally deleted the tweets of that video. So much for free speech.

Musk is desperate for money and attention. But we won't let that get in the way of Musk Stans needing to stan.

I like how you ignored my reply, waited a week for the next possible Elon-bad news, and then posted it on this age old thread.

Thanks @4743913 :

Cite a proof of your claim, remove it, or be reported.

The original account that posted video of the Musk boos (CleoPat4893885) was not working today but when clicked read, “This account doesn’t exist,” triggering outrage and alarm on Twitter that the Tesla and SpaceX founder might be censoring content he finds displeasing. “Elon Musk is deleting accounts that post this video of him being booed for 10 minutes last night at a Dave Chapelle show. He can’t delete us all. Retweet while you still can,” said one user. Neither Musk nor Twitter have commented on the claims. Video of his appearance is available elsewhere on Twitter (and on other social media platforms).

He's deleted the account that posted the video.

I'll let you get the last word though.

Deadline got the user handle wrong. The account still exists and was never deleted.

To a degree. He's been banning and then restoring accounts almost arbitrarily. He did that to ElonJet multiple times yesterday, and is now trying to sue the guy. the post that had the video was deleted and the user suspended, but is now back.

Gizmodo even posted that the videos of the booing were deleted.

The user who was ‘suspended’ has a pinned tweet that says “I was never suspended”.

There is zero proof of your claim that Elon/Twitter even touched that account.

But you claim it like it’s a fact in the encyclopedia.

Gotta love that free speech. So much free speech. You’re going to have so much free speech you’re going to be tired of free speeching.

BL.

I suppose all speech is free so long as you don't measure it.

Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. War is peace.

It’s unhealthy (and telling) for those to spend the limited amount of hours in a day with Negativity and Hate.

More so when they invest more hours in a day hating things than loving things.

Maybe it might be a good idea to talk about things you actually enjoy / are positive about?

Just a thought.

No one here is espousing negativity or hate here. In fact, what is happening here is that the subject in this thread is demonstrating a lack of personal characteristics that we would hope all people would be capable of showing. If anything, this subject is providing a lesson on how NOT TO BE. Perhaps those supporting him could/should learn that lesson so they know better, and more importantly, know not to blindly follow a false god.

Posting public information that Musk himself said would be allowed isn't doxxing. And journalists reporting on the change in policy certainly isn't doxxing.

Obviously it is doxxing and the policy has just been clarified that it will no longer be tolerated. Cute reporting to slip in Sweeney’s link isn’t a safe heaven.

The day before this happened Twitter suspended dozens of Sweeney’s accounts that disclosed plane locations of government agencies and high profile individuals.

Apparently Musk changed his mind after a car carrying his one of his sons was accosted.

Remember when Elmo tried to bribe pay a college student $5k to remove his Twitter account, failed, bought the company, said he wouldn’t ban him but then banned him anyway?

The policy was changed after the suspensions/bans. And, again, Musk specifically said that the posts would be allowed.

I have no problem with him changing his mind. But a reasonable action would be to announce the change in policy, remove any problematic posts, notify posters whose posts were removed of the change in policy, and then suspend/ban repeat offenders.

And it certainly shouldn't involve suspending journalists for reporting about the initial suspension.

I actually agree, sharing location information on anyone that doesn't do it themselves is bad and should be banned! *But*, I'm also not a free speech absolutist, like others claim to be.

Yep last month he said he would allow it despite it being a security threat.

This is a reasonable opinion.

It is my opinion he made a mistake last month in tolerating it.

Elon is such a hypocrite. But his latest bans for personal reasons is attracting regulatory powers. Even when you have your own private company you can’t act in a discriminative way. For such a supposedly smart guy Elon sure does act in dumb ways.

The dude is just a baby that can’t handle criticism. Simple as that. It’s his platform, so he can do what he wants, but everyone can stop saying he’s about protecting free speech and all that nonsense.
The funny thing is that he can’t actually just do what he wants. In many places around the world he just can’t. Naturally he can choose to withdraw, but he can’t just do what he wants. That is the core principal he just doesn’t seem to understand.
