I do not see any preview scrubber bar at my iPhone 4S...

I don't have a 4S but it's said that new features will be available in next betas. If not, I'll be editing my information to the right data.
Thank you..

I did beta 9.5 on my iPhone 5 now battery drains super fast and most my apps won't open. What do you suggest I do?

I just depends on your ability of not using the phone as a main device.
If you could handle using the phone while the apps won't open until the gold master or final release, then I don't think you should reinstall the beta or even downgrade.

If you just can live without your daily apps, u can just downgrade then reinstall it.

iOS 9 beta is laggy on my iPad 4. It's really weird typing fast because the keyboard is typing about a word or two behind where I am. Anyone else noticing how laggy it is on an iPad 4? iOS 8.3 was just fine by comparison.

In fact, I have an iPad 4, it was very good in the beginning with iOS 6 and iOS 7.1 until iOS 8.1.3 exactly it came and ruined every thing, animations are bad when unlocking and doing simple things. Performance was terrible. i suffered very much with iOS 8 until iOS 9 beta came out and I tried it, it fixed every thing except for some bugs and delays which always happen in the beta stage. I type really fast and i didn't notice any lag on the iPad, so maybe you're in an earlier beta or there is something wrong with the screen or any other hard ware problem. The most stable version of iOS 9 is iOS 9 beta 5 or iOS 9 public beta 3, so make sure you're on the latest version to get the newest but fixes.

9 looks kinda slow on my 4s. put it. my Photolamus app fainted. had to downgrade to 8.3
you shouldn't have updated ur iPhone 4s to iOS 8, u had to stay with iOS 7, it was way better. Apple just couldn't unsupport the 4s as many users could get angry. In fact it's the first iPhone to support 5 different iOS versions 5,6,7,8,9

Of course I'm upgrading to iOS 9. I always upgrade once there's a new release of Apple's mobile operating system. Especially now that iOS 9 beta 5 feels smoother and more stable than any iOS release I've ever experienced (been using it since iOS 4).

Some might think I'm just making stuff up, but I don't. Yes, there are these small issues, but most of them will be fixed in the GM or any iOS 9.0.x update anyway. And developers will have to update their apps as well to make them run perfectly well on devices running the latest version since a number of problems are caused by those apps.

I'm not on Beta myself therefore i'm wondering if someone know if we now can finally sort apps in the App Store app on e.g. Date on iPhone and also on iPad no matter in which tab you are. I think we can now only see those specific sorting features in only one or two tabs (Hitlist, Discover i think, i don't have my iPad with me right now to confirm).

iPhone 4s doesn't get the Notes improvements, and iPod doesn't get Low Power Mode as it lacks battery percentage.
All you have to do is modify a plist file and the iPod displays the percentage.

OP, how do you know that wireless CarPlay support using Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi ? I'm curious since I'm one of those crazy enough to change their's original head unit with a aftermarket pioneer unit compatible with CarPlay ;)

Thanks for your time

Does anyone know for sure if iOS 9 will support wifi calling on a 5S with AT&T as the carrier? I have heard people say yes and say no. I have the public beta version 5 and there is no option for it. Does anyone know if it will be in the GM release? Thank you.

My experience so far is that it's not an improvement on the iPad 3rd Gen. Way too much lag in launching apps compared to 8.4.1. Everything just seems a tick slower in fact.

~ iPad 3 got some enhancements to the performance, and design tweaks to Siri *
~ iPad mini got Performance enhancements and better look with transparent view. *
~ iPad 4 got animation enhancements in addition to new proactive assistant. *
~ iPad Air got multitasking features and the performance went down a small bit. *

~ iPad mini 2 got little enhancements to performance and animations and the new multitasking. *
~ iPad mini 3 got new multitasking features while the good performance stays the same.*

~ iPhone 6 and 6 Plus got the same features that are given to the iPhone 5S with the iOS 9 update. *

3. iPod
~ iPod touch 5 - got performance enhancements, some of the features are missing in the earlier
betas.
~ iPod touch 6 - newer improvements after upgrading, performance enhancements

* Features above could not only exist in one iDevice but many other iDevices.

- Performance on a scale

Scale :

1-3 Bad

_______________________________________________________________________________

Advice : if you have an iPhone 4S / iPhone 5 / iPhone 5C, sign up for the public beta to try them first before upgrading, as some users experience slow performance on iPhone 4S and minor animation bugs on iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C.

If you have an iPhone 5S, think well and watch iOS 9 reviews on YouTube before you upgrade. You can also try it your self by signing up for the public beta.

If you have an iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad mini, you should upgrade as soon as it's live in September as it enhances the performance and will give a new life to those iPads.

If you have an iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, sign up for the public beta to try them first before upgrading, as some users experience lagging and bad animations on those devices.

If you have an iPod touch 5, the performance will stay the same after upgrading to iOS 9 and most of the features do not support iPod, so it's good to watch reviews before update to know if you are going to upgrade as well cause there maybe little bugs.

If you have an iPod touch 6, the performance will improve, newer features that iOS 9 offers would be added.

Before you upgrade to iOS 9, think about its Pros and Cons and also think about the Pros and Cons of the system version you are on (iOS 8, iOS 7, iOS 6)

If you like Newsstand, stick with iOS 8 or earlier as its replaced by the new News app, which could be annoying for some users who used Newsstand for many years.

Information is subject to change.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask any questions in the comment bar :)

New iPod touch 6, iPhone 6S / 6S +, iPad mini 4, iPad Pro features are now available in the post.

Apple can control slowing down some devices to force people to buy the latest, the iPad Air has an even better version of a7 chip but performs a bit behind the iPad mini 3.

Did Safari content blockers not make the GM for the iPad Mini 2 and iPhone 5S? I'm not seeing it in Safari settings on either device.

Could anyone tell me if in iOS 9 the NFC chip has been made accessible to third party developers? I have tried finding it but, it isn't mentioned anywhere.
