I'll be upgrading from my 8+. I've missed out on the fuller screens for way too long haha

And I'm actually looking forward to Face ID. My hands sweat a lot so Touch ID can be spotty

Same here. Touch ID works better with masks and the pandemic situation doesn’t look like it will be over anytime soon. My 8+ is still going strong and I guess I just don’t feel the urge or the need to upgrade.

i used my 7 plus more than the 11 mainly because of touchID and lighter weight too.

We were planning on skipping the 12 but Apple trade in pricing + $150 Sprint/T-mobile deal convinced me to go for it. So I will be getting $290 for a pretty old 8.

Love my 8+ but the battery is shot (lucky to get 3 hours of use, 5 on standby). Instead of putting the $ into a battery replacement, I chose to put that into my 12 Pro. The 8+ was great, but it's time (especially getting $210 for a trade in).

Not sure if you are aware of this but if you have been with T-Mobile for at least 5 years, T-Mobile is running a $200 up front locality payment for the iPhone 12. I am taking advantage of that. I am getting $415 total ($215 + $200) trade-in for my iPhone 6S+.

We are holding out for (hopefully) TID on the 13. I replaced my battery a year ago and get all day service with it streaming XM and frequent maps usage everyday. I need a TOUGH case and the life proof cases on the previous phone design left much to be desired. Hopefully Lifeproof can get the design right with the new phone form factor. I will go for the Pro Max once Apple includes TID again.

My 8+ is still in great condition but I've been wanting to switch to a full screen phone for awhile now. Still undecided if I should go with the Pro or Pro Max though.

i have a regular 8 and i’m waiting for iPhone 13 Pro, i wanted the 12 Pro but i don’t like that they limited the good features that i care about (bigger sensor) only for the bigger version which is way too big + touch id is better in this time of covid

I own a 8+ that is still in great shape but after 3 years I've decided to upgrade. Went for the 12.
I thought that it might be good to sell the 8+ while it is still worth a bit of money, and also I'm quite sold to going back to the iPhone 4/5 design, I loved it.
Can't argue as well that it's going to be quite an upgrade going to the OLED display.

I was seriously considering getting a 12 but the 8 plus as much as I dislike it will do for now . I don’t really use the phone nearly as much as my iPad or watch tbh , seems mad to blow a grand on something like that . Also want a wider phone not longer .

It definitely isn’t an ideal year to switch from Touch ID to Face ID. I’d doubt a home button is coming back on 13, but they may have more time to give us a work around like the iPad Air.
