Lmao I say that every year I hope we both stick to that thought this year.

Every year I say I’m not going to upgrade but I always end up upgrading. I’m 100% sure I won’t upgrade this year. We’re house shopping and had a pricey vacation this summer, so I’m on a budget until December.

I agree. My 21 monnth old 7 Plus is still showing at 100% health. Mind you, as I have said in previous posts, I charge at 20/30% and take off chage 90/95%. Very rae do I charge to 100%.

I agree as well: My launch day iPhone 6s is at 93%, while my launch day iPhone 7 Plus is at 99%, and my launch day iPhone X is at 100%.

I am glad they are great, but I have a feeling "Battery Health" is not giving out correct information.

I know my 6s battery needs to be replaced because when it gets down around 15%, it will randomly shutdown when I go to unlock it, or open an app for example, but when it is 20% or above I have never had it shutdown on its own.

When does the $29.00 battery upgrade deal end? Thanks in advance!

Launch day X running public beta iOS 12 since release. Moderate user at 201 cycles. Currently sitting at 99% (coconut battery and iOS settings agree). Normally charged only at night until morning using off brand wireless charging pad since day 1. Occasional charging in the car while using nav, or by external battery during days of heavy use on vacation.

At 93% on 8+ with around 280 load cycles. Gonna book it in in late October for £25 battery swap before they stop doing it.
Mine is at 89% and I had this since december 23, 2017. I just updated at ios 12 beta 10. Man I always charge my phone when it goes down at 40-50%.

iPhone X, 02 Dec 2017.
176 charge cycles.
Battery health (iPhone) started at 100%, dropped in March to 99% then in July to 98%, until a couple days ago when it suddenly showed... 95% ?!? (95.7% according to coconutBattery).

at 100 % - i do wired charging - plug in every night about 8:00 pm and unplug about 5:00 am the next am.

I charge mine every night (...) Regardless of the charge remaining I always charge it when I sleep using the supplied Apple wired charger and I don't remove it from the charger until I leave for work every morning. It's still working as I sleep serving as my alarm clock thanks to the bedtime feature but being on the charger, it's always at 100% when I awake.

Basically it never gets charged except while I sleep (and always as I sleep) as I can't afford a dead phone while on duty. This routine apparently keeps my X's battery rather healthy.
I have basically the same "hygiene". I never charged it while at work, unless I go out after work. I'd say I have a heavy usage of my iPhone - mails, office planning, social media, messaging, music, lots of photos, couple games, some phone calls, and Bluetooth always on as I have an Apple Watch and my headsets are all wireless... around 5-6 hours a day.

I'm not much surprised by the current health as much as by the sudden drop from 98% to 95%...

I remember that one could 'calibrate' the battery-level checker in the days before the battery health could be checked in the settings menu.

Is this not advised anymore? Or can't you reset the app that checks your battery to calibrate it. I believe there were two ways.

-when your iPhone had shut down of it's own to calibrate the 'zero' level
-when your iPhone was fully charged to calibrate the '100%' level

And now I wonder if this should not be done, if possible at all, to get an accurate reading of battery health.

Do you guys think I should take my iPhone X to get my battery replaced?

I bought my iPhone.X end of July and the battery health has dropped to 99% already

If get about 7 hours battery life with heavy internet use....on my old 8plus I used to get like 10 hours....

The X is supposed to give you 10 hours right?
