I was under the impression that DW was, as yet, incompatible with Sierra. At any rate, that is no longer the case...

Apparently, DW has (recently?) been verified by Alsoft http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/requirements.html as being compatible with Sierra:

"System Requirements:
DiskWarrior 5 supports any locally connected Mac OS Standard (HFS) or Mac OS Extended (HFS Plus) disk including Fusion Drives, RAID volumes, journaled disks, case-sensitive disks, FileVaults and Time Machine backups. DiskWarrior 5 supports both PowerPC and Intel Macs started in OS X 10.5.8 through 10.12".

Using 14.4.1 and can't sign in. Was working 30 minutes before the Sierra update was installed.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the most recent client updates assume you have upgraded the corporate servers to also have updated, which I believe in my case, they have not. So unless your IT has kept the Lync servers updated as well, this could be what's causing the failure.

In any case, on all Sierra updated macs and Lync accounts, it's not working in my company.

Have you tried a more recent version with your service provider?

July 2016 update for Lync for Mac 2011 14.4.1 (KB3175174) is more than an update. It's a full installer, and the product does work with Sierra. At least: it launches, allows me to sign in, presents the list of contacts and groups.

The main application has been verified, but the Support page on their web site says that DiskWarrior Recovery Maker will be updated this week; http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/support.html

Has anyone tried LiteIcon 3.6.3 with Sierra? My eyes cannot take the garish icons in El Cap, assuming Sierra has that glaring aspect too.

Snapz Pro X 2.6.0 works fine, but brings up the capture dialog on every boot.

Canon's CAPT printer drivers no longer work.

FCP X does not work properly.

The drill down options for aspects such as titles do not work. You are unable to change colour / drop shadow properties, or any other aspect of the app that used to have a 'show' symbol.

As a Producer that uses or has contractors use this on an almost daily basis it's a disaster and we won't be able to update any of our machines until there is a fix... reported via Feedback Assistant... we'll see how long it takes...

EDIT: It's working now... It takes a couple of minutes to appear which is odd.

Macphun's Aurora HDR 2016 crashes trying to send a file from Lightroom. I reported that to MacPhun weeks ago on the GM releases. Their attitude was....it will all be OK when you get the official release of Sierra. Really? So I upgraded from the GM to official Sierra build yesterday. Guess what? Yep same damn app crash. I sent the data to Macphun and they told me they were working on something. I am afraid that something in Aurora 2017 which should be out by the end of October. Not impressed with Macphun at all.

Wacom latest drivers can work as pointing on anything else but can't use as brush on photoshop and lightroom.
What kind of Wacom device do you have? My Intuos Pro works fine with Photoshop CS5, including pressure and tilt sensitivity.
[doublepost=1474479321][/doublepost]
CS6 as I understand it still has dependencies on the Java 6 runtime, which is no longer supported (and will be removed if present when upgrading). So expect some things to be broken.

This appears to be some kind of urban rumour that keeps spreading. They'll work just fine. Just reinstall Java 6 (just like you needed to do when El Capitan, Yosemite and Lion were released). Photoshop will kindly provide the correct link to Java (the "More Info..." button) if you try starting it.

I want to updated our MBP, but my wife is a big gamer so Steam working is essential.

First time post-upgrade I tried to run Steam, it threw up a "Could not connect to the Steam network" error and closed itself.

Second time, it sits there with the message "Connecting Steam account <username>" for a while, and does nothing.

Went to the Steampowered.com website, chose the "Install now" link and downloaded the stub-installer, launched the DMG and installed it into "Applications" overwriting the current one, ran it, it then downloaded another update over the web, which then installs, updates the account info and loads.

The client loads as per usual and I can play games.

So basically you have to re-download Steam? Was the whole process pretty simple?

I just may hold off on upgrading.
