OLEDs have REALLY come down in price. The one I have was like $12,000 when it first came out (and it's only 1080P). I picked it up for $2000 when Micro Center was unloading their stock. The 4K ones are priced better now since there's more OLED development going on again. But even our 1080P OLED looks better than the 4K Samsung with HDR and whatever else it has.

I think some of the Samsung phones have OLED screens -- they look crisp and vibrant.

Picked up The Surge for €15!!! It's actually really quite good in a sci-fi Dark Souls vibe (actually more visceral like Bloodborne).

Great price! Looks like a price drop this week.

As for me - upgraded to PS4 Pro this week - playing a bunch of stuff on it to put it through its paces....

I love it since I'm a fan of PSVR and it really shines with that.

Bloodborne is $ 7.99 on the US PSN Store this weekend as part of a flash sale. Just in case anyone with a PS4 doesn't have this game already, this is a fantastic deal.

Destiny 2 and Sonic Mania...I finally bought a Switch Pro controller and it feels very comfortable.

Note: I hate the Surge...the late levels are ridiculous

Tell us more about your experience with the OLED TV when you get more time with it. I'm debating whether to go OLED for my next TV too.

Believe the hype! OLED is incredible. Black levels, contrast, pixel perfect lighting, warm colors, no clouding or trails....flawless and a huge difference to LCD!

I've tried that, about 120", but end up still prefer a TV more than projector.

I can appreciate that, especially since games are "tuned" to run on a comparatively bright TV. I had to turn up the in-game brightness for virtually everything I played (I didn't want to touch the settings on the projector itself as it's calibrated for movies).

I found a Metroid Amiibo Set and Collector's 3DS game yesterday! Bought them for my Metroid collection...

Kind of macabre situation...

I was at a Toys R Us I frequent near a great local used movie/music/game store.

I didn't realize that TRU applied for bankruptcy Sunday night - I guess because no one really shops there anymore.

Well, since no one shops there anymore...

I guess the TRU is restructuring - the people at this and my childhood store have always been great and hope they stay open in the foreseeable future at least.

Now I gotta find an Amiibo set to actually open and play...
