Ordered mine last night so I've got a bit of a wait. 15th - 22nd April it reckons, but who knows with the situation we've got. If it takes longer then so be it. People being safe is a bit more important at the moment!

Is the perfect interim upgrade from aging MBA 2013. Perfect hand-me-down in a couple of years, once Apple has sorted a MBA 14", mini-led and ARM cpu based upgrade in 2022.

Question about trade in during purchase-

I’ve read you have 2 weeks to send in your trade in. Is it 2 weeks from the day you RECEIVE the new MacBook, or 2 weeks from when you order it? I’d imagine it’d be 2 weeks from when you receive it.

Stock i5. After a really negative experience with a 2018 BRO MBP I have now resolved to only buy stock configurations. Faster to get, more reliable, and life is easier and there are more options in the event of problems.

Is buying from Apple directly the only way to get a base model with upgrade to i5? I have store cards for places like Amazon, Best Buy, Costco and can get extra rewards/financing; however, I don't see any option to buy models that are different from the 2 stock SKUs.

Wanted something lightweight but future proof with the specs. Always liked the MBA design. Plus I really don't like the Touch Bar.
