closest place for me is a 5 hour drive, which is... not ideal. I really just need to order one and try it out.

I'm lucky, only a 10 min walk away from the store. Order it and just return it if you don't like it. They are absolutely gorgeous with a link bracelet, but I refuse to have scratches out of the box when spending a premium.

I think that's totally fair- though I absolutely despise the watch support process. I've had 3 ceramic series 2 models at this point, and each one of them has the same display that has a red flash before it actually illuminates. But because the employees have to send it to a depot, it never gets recorded as an actual issue. Technically my first replacement was only a new watch because they lost (!!!) the one I gave them. It took two weeks for them to acknowledge there was any kind of problem at all. The second replacement was because bands wouldn't lock in place fully. But I've just resigned myself to the wonky display at this point because there is no recourse.

I'd love to buy another ceramic one, but at the price premium, it just irks me that the support is so mediocre at best.

I'm just returning and buying again, much easier.

+1 on Bandwerk’s amazing color matching of their lugs. I bought one of their limited edition Porsche straps awhile back and had been meaning to post. They absolutely nailed the SBTi finish, the lugs blend perfectly.

Here we go: "Natural" Titanium Apple Watch 5 44m with matching Bandwerk Pure Black Leather strap. I own a AWS Ti and a Bandwerk pure black leather band and the lugs fit and match perfectly. Highly recommended!

While this looks really very good, the lugs don‘t seem to match „perfectly“ to me ... are they not a littlle lighter coloured than the Watch body? Or is this just how it appears in the (2nd) picture?

man I wish the stores near me even carried the titanium or ceramic models, haha.

It’s weird. Because there are three stores in in my region, none of which carried the ceramic Apple Watch Series 4, but now with the Ceramic Series 5, it’s been in stock since the September launch, but only two of the three stores carry the natural titanium, but not the space black Ti. To say the least, Apples allocation process is never consistent, it’s almost like they make it difficult on purpose.

As you seem to be calling me out as a liar...

I read @the future post in this thread and the ceramic thread, he never inferred you were ‘a liar’. He was just questioning why you weren’t posting pictures of something that you said you were initially would with the Ti Model, but you mentioned you were ‘busy’.

Sometimes you have members who say things that are not always being honest in terms of what they’re experience was, I’m not saying that was you, but it’s very easy to portray on sites where you’re not really held accountable.

It really came out of the box with those blemishes? That’s terrible. Somewhere along the assembly line someone should have caught that. Purchased my natural Ti at launch. It was perfect out of the box and remains so with daily use.

I quote ‘And @Karim: 4 times in a row? Wow. Also kinda hard to believe ...’ That sounds like I was being doubted to me. Also, I was indeed busy, some of us have lives outside this forum, guessing you do too.

I’ve been on here a number of years now and have never given reason for anyone to question me.

These are different watches, three in fact, as the forth was returned a couple of days ago. You get the idea though... Bad batch?

As a regular member on here myself (Especially on the Apple Watch forum), I can vouch your authenticity and credibility. I was just pointing out that I don’t think he implied you were lying, he wanted to see the pictures.

Thanks, much appreciated. Perhaps I took that wrong and if I did, I apologise. Anyway, I didn’t have much luck, so decided ceramic again. lol
