Last night I watched Outbreak (Thriller, Action 1995) and for an ALL-STAR cast (Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Donald Sutherland, Cuba Gooding Jr. etc.) I didn't think it was that good. It had me in the beginning, but I lost interest in the midst of all the drama. Could be because it was over 2 hours long, I don't know. It was alright.

Agreed. It’s actually pretty awful imo. Either do a realistic movie or do something unrealsitic.

Contagion (2011) is far better and rather foreshadowing...

Outbreak (1995) just a soap opera...

Saw Godzilla X Kong last night with my son and his girlfriend at our EMAX cinema, well what can I say? It’s a popcorn movie, but, having watched the Apple+ TV series “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” there’s some inconsistencies between both .. but won’t discuss as spoilers ..

ummm … and what does this have to do with 'movies' pray tell …

It’s the art of being into the movie, no distractions, no worries, no phones, total zen.
comfortable shoes 101..

the crocs were in a picture I took of me watching Wonka (lovely movie, a 9/10 for me), a fellow member gave a “really” , I replied ..

^^^ btw took that photo when my son had to let the dog out, movie was in pause, like I said once a movie starts its zero small screen time - time.

Watched Napoleon last night with my wife. I give it 7/10, yes I liked it.

However there seemed something missing that truly could have made it a great 9/10 movie. At 2 1/2 hours it told a story , that was both epic wide and tried to be personal detailed.

Saw 2 others here watched it, one gave it a “meh”.

Not picking any fights, but I gave up on this about an hour in. As accurate as it might of been, I really disliked the portrayal of Nepleon. I know I should be able to look beyond if he was a likeable person or not…and it jumped from one rebellion to the next. 😔

Watched this as it's now on Apple TV, it's good until the last hour of 50 mins when it goes totally off the rails into stupidity, too much of the director in this one, and I'm not sure weather to celebrate Dallas with her natural plus sized body, or think a person of that calibre of character would be slimmer?
Anyway far too much Kingsman in it, the director needs to find new tricks to use.
