Pulled the trigger on a Bandwerk Stockholm Vintage Tan leather strap yesterday. Excited to receive it! Will update with images when it is on my wrist.

Got it today, looks very nice in person. Smooth and soft leather. Like all brown (tan) leather, it will wear very nice. And the patina will be better when it is worn. The only complaint is that It is a bit to wide for my narrow wrist. But this is me having puny wrists. Another complaint is the BW logo on the buckle, but that might be solved...

All in all very happy. Looks very smart and will absolutely rock with tan boots and belt.

I just feel the «BW.» logo is a bit out of character for the band? I don’t know, but I think it would be better with a pure polished buckle, without the logo. But that may be just me.

I gave the band 4/5 stars on the their webpage and was approached by their support team. And they sent me a replacement buckle free of charge. That 2nd buckle colour was a bit off and it was not as classy as the original (with logo). But either way, great customer service.

In regards to the patina, this will age very well provided you love worn leather. After two weeks it’s getting lighter some places, darker others. So pretty awesome!

Oops, I thought the issue with the logo, was the the KC, on the tip of the band. But, I get it with the logo on the buckle...

For those that have used the Taobao seller - are you able to break down the process to contact them that makes a bit more sense? Ive read some of the details on previous pages but I feel like there are huge gaps in the explanations. Things like:

-Just install aliwangwang.
Where do I install it from? Every site I google on this is in a language that Google wont translate.

-Just contact the guy on his TaoBao page.
What page? Who is the guy? What am I searching for specifically?

-Use the iOS app to communicate with the seller
The app that was downloaded is all in a different language as well.

-Use the slime icon on the TaoBao page to chat
I'm on MacOS and I dont see any slime icons on anything. Im assuming this is where aliwangwang comes into play again but that takes me back to my first note.

I have also emailed him several times and they never respond. Any help is appreciated.

Ahhh trying to decide on a nice leather band since apple cant make a decent one for 38/40mm. So many options I dont know where to start.

Ok the link bracelet arrived today from the link above first impressions was very impressed by the quality for the price I paid at £39 uk pounds it came well enough package with a plastic protector on top of bracelet I found no scratches and the Finnish was as good as it gets all edges were smooth and all gaps in links was black. There was two choices for the black when I ordered one was space black which i think is for space black Watch and the option was black I went for just the black for my ss series 4 black so the black version has a slightly polished look over the matt one, that fits in well with my watch. The adjustment on the links was easy enough and seemed to click back into place after taking out 4 links to each side this for me was a perfect fit. I haven’t had any of my hairs from my arm trapped as yet and I haven’t felt any pinching or sharp edges. As for now i can honestly say it was a great purchase and quick delivery from Amazon so I will now use it for work and see how it holds up i work in the maintenance industry in a museum so can get knocked about so I will update you in a week or so as to the quality of clasps and durability of the black Finnish.
Here are some pictures of the strap I don’t have good lighting today but hope it shows enough for you to see. I will try posting a video but I’m not sure it will post video using Tapatalk on iPhone.

Finally took the plunge and ordered a black link bracelet from the seller in this thread - https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...stainless-link-bands-oem-apple-bands.2138709/

As I've said on there, the strap is identical in every way to my genuine Apple stainless steel one.

Also ordered some straps from Urvoi. They arrived insanely quickly and I've been very impressed with the quality. The Sport Loop bands feel great and just like the real thing. The Nike-style sport straps looks the part although they feel like they're made of slightly softer material so bend a bit easier.

Its pretty amazing to see what you can buy from there for just a few £.
