Hello, I'm a registered developer with access to the Catalina beta. I'd really like to test SwiftUI etc, but can't afford to jeopardise my main prod Mac. Is it possible to directly download the beta and install in a VM running on top of macOS Mojave?

Has anybody successfully cloned the system volume and its data container?

What method have people used to clone a new Catalina volume? Since there are separate system and data volumes it looks like things might be more complex.

Has anyone successfully been able to get Catalina running on a VM? I made a quick attempt to upgrade a Mojave VM running on ESXI 6.7U2 yesterday but it did not appear to work. I have not had time to debug yet but will try again later.
