I have an iPad Air, WiFi only. I have Messages set up on it to be able to send and receive messages and texts. Problem is, I'm not getting any notifications. The messages show up (only other iMessage users, not SMS), but I don't get any banner notifications at the top and the red notification...

Ive recently upgraded on my iPad to iOS9 and ive seen some serious bugs. The tablet would freeze, shutdown and unable to restart unless i did the reset boot procedure. I believe that iOS9 has issues and therefore i want to downgrade to iOS8. Is it possible and how?
