Oh - if folks didn't hear, there are HUGE 90% off sales on Alan Wake on GoG, Steam, GamersGate and likely others as well.

Why? Because music licenses expire and that means that the game is being pulled from the market. The sales expire today.

I mentioned this in another thread, but I also picked up Euro Truck Simulator 2 over the weekend for €5. I tried it first out with just the keyboard and then later with my steering wheel. I find that the steering wheel adds a new dimension to it and that it's very dull when playing with just the keyboard.
I read that post. :)

Picked up PlayerUnknown's Battleground yesterday, a Battle Royale game that is still in Early Access on Steam. Only played it a wee bit, but liking it what I see so far. Even managed to get in to the top 10 at one point, although I got sniped coming over the hill.

#Note to self, a little less Rambo next time.

Anyone playing TrainZ: A New Era? If so what do you think? It's on sale for $10 through May29. Is this a tycoon type game, or do you just build and run trains around?

Anyone check their Steam Game Queue on a regular basis? You know the thing that feeds you games to consider buying? I've been getting a string of Japanese sexy girl adventures with nudity, not that I object to nudity per see, have not seen an example of the nudity, just see the label that comes with the game.

I've got naked slaves in Conan, no problem, it's an option with the vanilla game. But these games, I mark them all as "not interested" yet new ones appear every time I check my Queue... like LoveKami-UselessGoddess. No thank you.

[doublepost=1496109369][/doublepost]I thought there was a big Flight Sim Thread in this forum, but could not find it. Help?
Anyway in the mean time I see a new Flight Sim in Steam Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China (PC) anyone try this, just came out. It's new, cheap, and on sale. I'm just wondering if it's arcade or a realistic simulation?:

I picked up Stronghold HD a castle building RTS game from 2001 for $1.50 on Steam. I imagine the sale ends soon. I played a couple of missions with it, but it got kinda old kinda fast. A lot of testimonials o Steam about how good the game is. I'm not disputing that. In it's time, that is probably true.

I don't have any relations to these guys, but this is an awesome and beautiful FPS game:

Potentia - way underpriced (but kinda early in its development)
(I told these guys they should get Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft to back them...)

It's probably a good game but nothing I could see myself playing.
It dawned on me 45 minutes to plow a field and I frequently rag about grind. ;)

Some friends talked me into Dark and Light, a pre-release ARK Survival Evolved-like game. It's on sale for $24 for a couple more days. It's ok, but kind of grindy early on. I'm not sold on it yet.

New game on Steam: Fictorum an action RPG with destructible environment. I'm watching it, waiting on some reviews. It's $20.

Remember Me (2013) is on sale at Steam for $5.99 by Capcom. IMO, good story telling and cinematics, plus ok fighting. You can't go wrong at that price, espeically with such a hot hero. :)_

For those who really like The Thing, Steam has a sale on a game called "Distrust" -inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing. On sale till 30 Aug 2017, but I've not played it so can't vouch for it's worthiness. ;)

This game is beautiful. I can easily imagine it as a VR game. :):)
